Bends AND breaks
I liked the ring and the quote, “Willow bends but never breaks.” Ring snapped in half after 4 months of use. Definitely breaks. I do like the design and was a bit disappointed that it was not more durable. With such a catchy quote I expected a more durable ring. Just wore it to work and it would catch on my clothing and bend as a result. Thus I believe bending caused it to stress and to eventually break. Beware it definitely bends AND breaks.

Hi Michaela 🤍 Thank you for taking the time to share this, and I’m really sorry to hear your ring broke. I completely understand how disappointing that must have felt, especially when you connected with the meaning behind it. I just wanted to gently clarify that “bends, not breaks” is the symbolism of the willow branch itself. It represents resilience and what we go through in life. The ring is designed to reflect that meaning, not to be indestructible. Because it is adjustable and made to be worn comfortably across sizes, it is naturally more delicate than a solid fixed band. That said, your experience matters, and we never want anyone to feel let down. Many of our customers wear their rings daily without issue, but depending on how often it’s adjusted or if it catches on clothing, it can weaken over time as you described. You are fully backed by us, and if you reach out to us at [email protected], we’ll be more than happy to take care of you and find the best solution 🤍 With care, Willow & Ember 🤍
