Some of the best hotdogs I have ever eaten!!!

The website was clear. The process was straightforward. Delivery was timely. The product was as good as advertised. In other words, it was exactly what we all want when we shop online. More importantly, the meat is outstanding!

everything arrived as it should, it was packed well, and so far we have eaten two of the ribeye steaks and they were absolutely wonderful. everything was fresh and the meat just looked beautiful.

If you order from Wild Idea be sure to communicate with the Fed Ex office/distribution center associated with the area of delivery. My parents sent me 10# of ground buffalo and unfortunately it arrived at the Cedar City Fed EX on a Friday but not delivered until Monday (we do not have Saturday Fed Ex services in our town). Needless to say we had to throw out several completely thawed (and warm) packages. We were able to salvage a few but won't be cooking these burgers rare!

I'm in the process of making a lot of positive changes in my life, chief among them is buying responsibly raised food. I looked over numerous websites selling bison, and only Wild Idea guaranteed (among the ones I reviewed) that the bison they sell is 100% Native Grass (this is key) Fed. This is apparent in the complete lack of marbling in the meat. Absolutely none, the steak bundle I ordered hardly compares to "grass fed" meat from stores in my area. Which more than likely is -grain-finished, somewhat to be expected in Illinois, where Corn is King. Not to mention Dan O'Brian has a "come see for yourself" invitation for customers, which I am planning on taking him up on Spring 2016. In case it wasn't readily apparent, I wholeheartedly recommend Wild Idea. P.S. If you're hemming and hawing over the price... Have you priced disease, cancer, etc. lately? Realign your priorities and be better than yesterday.

I am in love with Wild Idea Buffalo. I puchased the April special, and it is all but gone. The package arrived quickly, and there was some thawing, but it was minimal. I hope to order again soon, and hope they continue to run specials. Thanks again for the delicious buffalo steaks.

I received the order on time, and was at home to receive the package from Fed Ex, so it didn't sit out. I found that some packages inside were not completely frozen. I placed another order today and I hope it arrive frozen because I will not be at home to meet the fed ex man at the door. My new favorite is the kippered buffalo. Never heard of it before, and this time ordered three packs. I tried a store bought buffalo jerky, hoping it might taste the same as the kippered. Not even close. The kippered was clean tasting, not overly sweet like the store bought, and actually tasted like meat. Oh yeah, easy to chew.

I've ordered from Wild Idea before and have always been very happy. This order left me a bit bummed out. Several items in the order had partially thawed leaving me pressured to eat them right away. I love Bison but the 4th day in a row eating bison? Well it wore on me a bit. Admittedly this isnt a disaster but it was annoying enough to make me shop around for a potential new bison farm.
