Whole Foods is content with the status quo with availability for pick up or delivery being virtually non existent. Why not hire more shoppers to increase the amount of pick up or deliveries? Guess they are content with status quo and not interested in helping out the community during the crisis. Most frustrating part is that you don't know that nothing is available until you finish your list. I have virtually gone on the site and on amazon to get delivery daily for weeks and get the same message. Frsutrating

Horrible
Horrible! You pay for a monthly Amazon membership so that you can get Whole Foods groceries delivered, but you can never get an open slot for a delivery. I have been trying to order groceries for FIVE days in Minneapolis. I stay up past 2am and hit reload in the check out for my cart constantly all day and night - NO delivery windows ever open. WHY am I paying for this service??? We are going to starve. Because we are at high risk for Covid 19 complications, we cannot go into a store. We are going to have to discontinue our Amazon membership and go with Instacart or someplace else!

Delivery experience through Amazon…
Delivery experience through Amazon Prime:
I ordered a Whole Foods delivery, and after the order arrived, I noticed that the tomatoes (7) were missing. Because I ordered through Amazon Prime delivery and we are under a Stay At Home order for Covid-19, I could not have the issue resolved directly at the store and contacted customer service chat at Amazon.
I spent over a half an hour on chat, being told that I did not understand what I had ordered. After chatting with three separate people who each gave me incorrect information, I was finally given an address to which I could email a screenshot (my idea that I had to ask for more than once) to prove that I had ordered what I had ordered. Amazon did not offer to deliver the item, which is what I wanted, but only offered a refund - not helpful at all since I needed the tomatoes asap. Then, after this ridiculously frustrating and long conversation, no other remedy was offered. So I suggested a credit to my account. I found out today that a $5 credit has been offered somewhere on my account: horribly insufficient and terrible customer service.

Got ripped off on a $25 Strawberry Shortcake missing whipped cream, strawberries and jam that was previously frozen.
I have to say that Whole Foods Market has become particularly bad since Jeff Bezos bought the grocer. It has only become more apparent and ugly in the face of the Coronavirus. Mr. Bezos is profiting from the enormous number of people who are ordering online yet his policy for hurting the customer has never been worse.
Yesterday, I purchased a $25 Strawberry ShortCake from their bakery. I don't know about you, but I expect real whipped cream, fresh strawberries, strawberry jam on three layers of sponge cake. We were looking forward to this dessert, but when we opened the box, we found there was no whipped cream, just inexpensive frosting that was inedible. There were a few strawberries on top but none between the layers, only more frosting. At the bottom of the layer there were a few strawberries except they were rock hard frozen. It is apparent that the cake was not only made from poor ingredients but was previously frozen and not even properly thawed. Not only was this a big disappointment to my family as this represented false advertising but my experience the next day with Whole Food Market customer service was horrendous.
Upon arriving at Whole Foods Market, I was summarily dismissed by the customer support team including the manager. They pointed to a decal on the window that says "During the Coronavirus, we are not accepting any returns, all sales were final" It did not matter whether the fruit was rotten, or whether the product was falsely advertised. Absolutely no returns.
Basically, I can do nothing, other than take a picture of the cake and keep the bill and maybe months from now, they may return the money. I highly doubt it as I believe this is another excuse for a policy that Mr. Bezos put in place to steal more money from people who are hurting or laid off during this pandemic. I sadly miss the local bakery Mr. Bezos put out of business while he exploits the good name of Whole Foods Market before he took it over. Mr. Bezos looks at us as nothing more than dupes who he can overcharge and suck money out of regular hard working people.

customer mistreatment during coronavirus
The customer service has become horrible at the palm beach gardens store since coronavirus hit us. The employees at the customer service desk are rude, argumentative and have no interest in assisting with problems or concerns. It’s become like the airlines where they think they can violate customer rights by doing as they please in the name of “safety”. This is despite the fact that in the name of safety their own employees do not follow proper social distancing guidelines or protect their respiratory droplets from landing on a customers their vicinity. They falsely believe they are so busy that they don’t need to provide a service any longer. This is despite the fact that the customer service desk had 4 employees standing around doing nothing while I was the only customer at the desk.

Needing groceries during 2020 pandemic
I appreciate the grocery delivery since im too sick to go to the grocery store. If I could order from another company though I definitely would. They charge for items that aren't delivered and produce is usually rotten. Unfortunately most delivery company employees are going on strike, and i don't blame them, it's just hard right now being unemployed and with covid 19. The money really matters and I am forced to throw away rotted produce or pay for items not delivered.
