Whole Foods here on Maui is great. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is that they sometimes fall short, but are worthy of four stars easily. The high quality of Whole Foods buying, and the products that they display are top notch. People could complain, but in reality, they keep it fresh, they are consistent, and when you live on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, your expectations should be parallel. I just want to praise this company for continually doing a good job here on Maui. I spend hundreds of dollars there happily and try my best to understand that short staffing and the times that we have gone through recently have been challenges for sure, but I see them continually exceed expectations. I usually shop later in the evening, but I have been there at all times of the day and they do a pretty stand up job.

We will not be shopping at WFM again. A simple trip for a Tony’s Chocolonely Dark Chocolate Bar left a nasty taste in our mouths. As black women, security officers routinely follow us while shopping, and it will forever be unacceptable. A WFM security officer closely followed us throughout the store and it was so infuriating! Of course, stores are free to set their own policies regarding loss prevention and we are equally free to buy groceries elsewhere. When she finally opened the chocolate bar, there was a hole in the wrapper that did not penetrate the foil and she did not want to set foot in your store for a replacement. My daughter is shopping at other local stores for groceries.

Many great products have been phased out and replaced by 365 which is terrible; even the coffee gave us stomach cramps. All the helpful supplements and self care items have vanished. I can no longer buy any of the much tastier and healthy items I bought for years. Also the new manager seems to think he works in Fresh Direct- the temperature is absolutely frigid and l could not remain inside more than a few minutes. I did try to point this out to the manager but he said he did not notice it. On top of this the prices are incredibly inflated. After years of shopping there I am taking my business elsewhere, saving money and finding much better products. Good Bye Whole Foods!

Whole Food disappointment.Pork BBQ contained bones. Scalloped potatoes dry, not creamy, little taste. Apple turnovers hardly contained apples. I've had good experiences before. This time? Ouch.

I ordered a whole foods delivery as a gift via Amazon Prime. Half the order was missing, instead of two bottles of wine my friend received 2 bottles of water. Instead of brownies my friend received an onion and garlic. They refunded for the missing items but not the delivery fee of almost $10! Now I have to still send the wine and brownies or something nice and they will charge the fee again. No option to fix it, only refund for missing items. Customer service said they can’t refund the delivery fee even if wrong items delivered! Now I can’t use this service again, I’d be foolish to trust they would make a correct delivery.

Customer service was terrible. I bought some “ fresh sushi” that was at least a few days old. It was inedible. Took pictures of it before throwing it out. Contacted customer service and offered to send them the pictures. They would not help me unless I had a receipt. The carton had their name on it. I used my prime account to buy it. But without keeping the receipt I was screwed. Worst customer service I have encountered in years. They should be embarrassed.

Wholefoods!? I am forever thankful for the Besos' Family. Very pleased for all the produce from the day you opened in Washington, DC. Covid hurt us all but, I think you have done a great job supplying the country throughout the fallout. I hope they make a come back in the bakery department eventually. I also worked in their business they're pretty straight forward. Not a bad place at all. I am grateful for delivery also now that I am older and have difficulty walking. Easy ordering. Easy deliveries.

As a customer: Price gouging at its finest. 1 small meal single serve $11.00 for a small scoop of green beans, mashed potatoes and small piece of turkey meatloaf. A small 6 oz coffee premade is $5. As an ex employee for ecommerce: They will hire 25 people in one week, with no interview and then when you do the training on the videos, you'll have to cram 15 hours worth of videos in two days. Then they will train you as a shopper. That's great but the location I worked at, they are slow and lazy to come find you and set you up for training; then one lady who does the shopping training will talk trash about the other new hires "asking stupid questions" and she will get annoyed. Then why are you here? Why are you training people if you hate it? Say no, then.
