I used to LOVE Whistle. Now I just like it.
I purchased Whistle when it first came out and have upgraded twice to newer models. Customer service used to be timely, efficient and helpful. They used to go over the top to ensure I was taken care of. I have had a few issues through the years and over time customer service has really become less responsive to my needs. Reps don’t fully read what I write, they don’t believe me when I report a problem and turn it around to be my fault. My WiFi, my router etc. when nothing changes in my home I can’t get a reason why my device is acting differently. My friend, whom I turned on to getting 2 whistles for her dogs, has reported to me the same kind of response. When I talked her into getting a Whistle I told her customer service was great. Unfortunately she is disappointed with service she has received. Also, the product isn’t holding up as well as my first one. I retired my first one for a “better” one. I have had to replace 2 since my first upgrade. I wonder if the increase of competition has Whistle focusing on other things besides ensuring their customers are taken care of and product reliability. I’ll try my Whistle go explore and see how it holds up, but unfortunately I’m not holding my breath.
