**UPDATE 9/6** Credit where credit is due - it seems Whistle is doing their best to get the backordered devices out quickly. Shipping was upgraded to next day automatically. Communication through the whole process still leaves something to be desired, but bumping to 3 stars for the effort. Order email, nor website gave no indication of delays in shipping (for the color I ordered). After a week, followed up with support who confirmed shipping lead times of 12-15 days. I understand this is a small organization, but this isn't 2004, this is the age of one day delivery. If there is going to be a more substantial delay, there needs to be better communication about it, and periodic updates. Even a "check the status of my order" option online would be appreciated.

This my fourth whistle. So far my only complaint was short battery life. Bought Whistle with longer life for fourth pet. Will see how well this one works.

I’ve had TAGGs on my dogs a long time. I upgraded to Whistles as the devices wore out. i have one of my three dogs on a slightly different schedule from the other two. He got a Whistle 3 a few months back and I was amazed how much better it is than the older Whistles. When I received notice Verizon was shutting down its 2G network and I needed to upgrade I wasn’t terribly sad. Upgraded to the Whistle GOs and am very happy. Love the family trip feature and the ability to have multiple zones...my house and my dog sitters. The only thing I miss is a monthly payment option and multiple dog discount.

I like Whistle as it works pretty well up in the mountains where we live. Coverage isn't always great, but I hope that the new one I ordered to replace the one that is no longer operative will be okay. Service was very good and I received a 20% discount because I am a customer and because the old one is being phased out.

I have been a long time whistle customer. The GPS tracker that I purchased from Whistle will no longer be usable after November. Whistle offered a $30 discount to upgrade my tracking device, but that leaves me wit a $108.20 expense that I shouldn't have. Over the past few years I have been an advocate for this company and told many people to try Whistle for their own pets. It is disappointing that Whistle think so little of long time, loyal customers that they only offer a $30 discount to help. I have ordered the new device, but I will be searching for something better in the meantime.
