My friend has it for both his dogs and when a repair man left the gate open and the dogs got out it alerted him and the dogs were quickly rounded up. So I had to get for my old blind dog just in case he slips the fence and gets lost. For just a few bucks the piece of mind is worth it.

Whistle wasn't giving me the correct location for my dog. I called and was told that AT&T wasn't strong in my area and there wasn't anything I could do. Later the collar attachment broke, and I ordered a new one. I also again asked if there were other options for the bad reception. I never received a response, or a replacement collar piece. After several complaints, I was asked what piece I needed, even after I said it in the original communication. I finally received replacement pieces, and was told that 3G wasn't strong in my area and I needed a Whistle Go or Whistle Go Explore. No one told me this before, when I called about the bad reception, or when I bought the Whistle. The customer service person said it was my responsibility to have done the research. Well, other 3G stuff works around here. Anyway, I ordered the Whistle Go Explore, and guess what, it won't find my network, or connect to my WIFI. after several attempts and several communications with the same customer service rep, the problem is still unresolved, even though I continue to get emails saying it is resolved. Sigh.....I'm going to try to get my IT and router guy to see if he can help. All my other stuff finds and connects to my network. I'll probably return the new Whistle for a refund.

Great product with timely support. Best to use it with a Whistle Twist & Go Collar if you have dogs that play hard with each other. More secure.

The website is well laid out and I could easily compare the different whistle models to select the best one for my dog. We already have the whistle 2 and it was time for an upgrade, I’m looking forward to the new feathers with the whistle go explore!
