Hola Gerri, we’re very sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations. The talks at the start of the evening are meant to help guests understand the meaning and traditions behind what they’ll later see in the cemeteries, fostering empathy and respect for local families. The food is prepared by a respected local woman-chef using traditional Oaxacan recipes, curated to share the authentic flavors of the season. We wish you’d let us know during the event so we could have made things right at the time, but we’d still like the chance to do so now.
