Landed at Manchester airport this morning tried contacting to the number I was given to be picked up to collect my hire car but kept going to answer phone, after 2 hours decided to walk to the office only to be told they are no longer there so had to hire a car from the company that had taken over at triple the price now got to try and get my money back from wheego, what a scam be aware

Czekasz na auto do ostatniej chwili. Jesli nie bierzesz ubezpieczenia auto dostajesz brudne, sprzątnięte z wierzchu z nieodbotowanymi usterkami. Bierzesz ubezpieczenie- dostajesz auto wysprzątane, często wyższej klasy, nie musisz sie o nic martwić. Nie ma niby w tym nic dziwnego, jednak gdy oddajesz auto i ktos wmawia Ci, że dana rysa lub wgniecenie powstało z Twojej winy to jest słabe. Musisz robić zdjęcia przed zabraniem auta, inaczej obarczą Cię za usterki o których nie miałeś pojęcia, że istnieją. Nie polecam. Takie próby wyłudzania powinny kończyć się zgłoszeniem na policji.

I booked a car from Birmingham airport at a wonderful rate. I took the insurance package too. I hadn’t realised the car was off site but as it turns out we had a great rental. Adam and zane looked after us so well. And on our return dropped our party of 5 back to the airport so fast. We had such a lovely experience. I would definitely use them again.

Wir können nur davor warnen,bei diesem unseriösen Mietwagen Anbieter zu buchen. Wir haben über Check 24 einen Mietwagen am Flughafen in Athen gebucht. Unser Flug hatte 1 Stunde Verspätung,als wir an den Treffpunkt ankamen war kein Shuttle da. Bei unserem Anruf bekamen wir die Auskunft, daß sie unseren Mietwagen storniert hätten und auch keinen anderen Mietwagen zu Verfügung hätten. Wir können uns ja bei Check 24 beschweren. Also haben wir bei Check 24 angerufen und um Hilfe gebeten,da der Mietwagen auch schon bezahlt war, da bekamen wir nur die Antwort,sie wären nur Vermittler und könnten nichts machen. Es wurde uns nur angeboten,daß sie um eine Kulanz Erstattung unseres Geldes erkundigen können. Also Hände weg von wheego und Buchung bei Check 24.

I rented a car with Wheego Bulgaria (Contract RNT-2430) from March 29th to April 1st, 2026. Upon returning the vehicle at Sofia Airport, a missing key was reported. The official "Vehicle Condition Report Form" generated by the company and signed by me clearly stated the total cost for the key was 345 €. However, instead of charging the agreed amount and releasing the rest of my 1.000 € security deposit, Wheego liquidated the FULL 1.000 € from my bank account. It has been nearly a month, and they have ignored all my emails. This is an unauthorized charge and a complete lack of professional integrity. I have already initiated a formal chargeback process with my bank and filed a complaint with the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Commission (KZP).
