Lied to when signing up as a provider
Lied to when signing up as a provider. The things I asked for and was assured were present aren't. I wanted to drag and drop trips and I insisted that we needed to access our trip calendar on our phones. We were sold quite hard to take the system moving from Fareharbor, but now regret it. It's also not simple to have a widget that displays all trips. Almost impossible. No WeTravel built system for Wordpress buttons either, so it's at best clunky if you use a wordpress site. On the mobile calendar, I have been informed that I can develop my own solution to have a mobile calendar and only have to pay £80 per month to do this - pretty steep for a feature they should have (it promised it was coming soon over 6 months ago). Interface is lovely on the positive side, but that's about it. Very disappointed. Edit: response to reply. The Wordpress widgets are based on a third party plug in, which is what I was referring to. There’s no simple way of having all trips on one link to put on a button either. In fact I’m sure they said that wasn’t possible. I would also add that mobile use is near impossible because of the reliance on Authenticator apps and how poorly designed for mobile the site is. Worst part is the attitude you deal with though.

Hi Peter, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we’re really sorry to hear that things haven’t met your expectations. We’d like to clarify a couple of points, as some of the functionality you mentioned is available on the platform. WeTravel does provide embeddable booking widgets, including “Book Now” buttons and an All Trips widget, which allow you to display and sell trips directly from your website, including WordPress, via HTML embed. While this setup may require some initial configuration, it is actively used by many organizers. That said, we understand that you were expecting a more plug-and-play experience and that this may have felt limiting, especially when transitioning from another system. We also recognize your concerns regarding mobile access and evolving features, and we’re continuously working on improvements in these areas. We’d really appreciate the opportunity to better understand your setup and help you get the most out of the platform. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] to assist you better. We wish you every success with your business moving forward. The WeTravel Team
