West & WillowReviews of westandwillow.com

Wish I could say it met expectations, but the portrait at the neck/shoulder level was not accurate and painted in a general black/white swath instead of the pet's actual coloration

I would probably give this a 3.5 but it’s not available so I gave it only 3 stars. The picture came in about a week but I was out of the country and couldn’t open it right away. It was a gift for my son’s birthday and when he opened it he really seemed to like it but I myself was rather disappointed. It looked a little more computer made than hand made which I guess it is, so…….? Maybe it’s just me. The really disappointing part was that our dog is an English cream golden retriever. She is WHITE. The pic I sent shows a tiny bit of shadowing on the side of her face but it still looks white. In the computer generated picture the whole right side looks brown? I can see maybe a little shadowing would have been picked up but it looks like she is half brown. I looked at the original pic I sent again and she looks WHITE, not any part of brown. My son said he was good with it and liked it so I didn’t contact customer service but just wanted to say to have a look at the pic before you give it if it’s a gift! The overall quality seemed pretty good. I received an email from Trust Pilot with a response from westandwillow. They said they were sorry I was not happy with the result and to keep an eye out for an email on how they could investigate further. Never received another email. Not going to make a big deal about it......

Color was off. My cat is white and gray and the painting came out gray and brown.

Picture looks a bit weird. Wish it could have been reviewed before final. Ohh well.

The frame was not intact on arrival. Our dogs nose was brown not black and fur on nose is longer than actual pic sent.

I still had to pay for shipping even though it said 100+ over it's free.

Wish I could get updates on my order

Your website and ordering process are quick and simple. I was a little disappointed with the portrait, it wasn’t positioned or proportionate to the print size and most importantly the portrait doesn’t have any personality. Your ads show portraits that look great even though the picture of the actual pet may look serious. We’ll display it because it was expensive.
