What a terrible plan overall. The visit in the dr office is free but if you need telehealth it is a $55.00 "co-pay" Total rip off, my doctor was appalled! Also the Spendables is a joke. Again, I have to drive to the store. Why? Because the online wellcare store has nothing I can use! And the WellCare Spendables card doesn't work at an online store only Wellcare's own online store. Also they don't cover Urgent Care visits - I was very ill and went to Urgent Care and was told it would be full charge - Hundreds of dollars. Don't sign up for Wellcare Advantage it is worthless on many levels!

Ths Customer service is horrible and their appeals process brings you to individuals that are inept and can't even recird a complaint correctly. They signed me up for service after I filled out a application and changed my mind. The only excuse they could come up with is that its free. I explained that I had to pay IRMA and they had no idea what IRMA is. They recorded my complaint incorrectly and did a CYA on why I had coverage. I filed a complaint with CMS and will follow-up with a complaint with the OIG. Stay away from this company!

I should give them 0 STAR if I could. Completely disappointed with their website.

Have have part d coverage for 2 years. Def changing in 1/26. If you have no issues with meds you're ok, but God help you if you have to call cust. service. Every agent seems to have heavy accents and if you have some hearing problems this creates chaos. They do not seem to get it when you say I cannot understand you and will not transfer you to a clearer speaking individual. I literally hung up on them yesterday and threw my phone in anger. And here is the kicker: All I needed was help finding a pharmacy that had a VITAL INJECTABLE MED, and I got NOWHERE! They should be put out of business.

If zero were an option, I would definitely rate this company that. Their customer services is basically a front for something other than what they supposedly offer - support and action. They do not have the authority or capacity to advance to resolution any inquiry I have made. I have been attempting to order a non-formulary prescription through the Medicare Part D plan for which I am a member. It has been over two months, four appeals, two approvals and no prescription fill. WTH??? They could at least cut me a paycheck for all the time I spend on the phone with their customer service representatives and department that cannot do anything toward securing my requested service. If you approved the medication, by letter to me on two different occasions and I call to order the prescription to be filled, why can your staff not see the approval nor order the prescription? The representative apologizes to me about my frustration. This is not just frustration. This is misinformation provided by you for which you should correct. I did not send myself an approval. I actually started taking the prescription in a non-compliant guide, one pill per day, instead of two, in order to not run out of medication. I ran out and still no fill is pending. What??? It seems there is no recourse to get beyond powerless customer service. Again, providing misinformation is not frustration. It is unethical. As a customer I simply wanted to fill a prescription - from my prescription plan company!

Attention, all current and those thinking about becoming a potential Wellcare client! Besides my earlier compliant about not being able to identify my correct primary care physician on my Wellcare ID card, which I've complained about for the past couple of years that they've still not addressed to this day! And another issue that I have, is with their advantage plan covering HSA/FSA funds. Every time that I attempt to use my Wellcare Spendable online on an item which states HSA/FSA approved, I get declined! So, the last time this happened to me was today (10-03-26), at which time I called into Wellcare and spoke to a customer service agent in which I had a hard time trying to understand. She (customer service) told me after she came back on the line, that she did not see a problem with my account. That I should try and order from WellCare’s shop online stores. The only problem with these stores is that they are pharmacies only! Not all FSA/HSA eligible stores are pharmacies. Providers such as Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna to name a few, do not limit you to just pharmacies, they also offer grocery benefits as well. You can bet this coming election year that I will find better service for my Medicare benefits.

I've been asking these people for more than 5 years to take me off of their marketing list and they continue to disrespect and not listen. Tons of physical mail, emails and even phone calls sent to me. I have never had a plan with this company or want to, especially since they have terrible communication and in today's world, an overall low value insurance. never be that needy

This place has awful customer service. At times it akes weeks to get approval for basic prescriptions. Goodrx has worked out so much better than valuscript.
