My dogs ability to use his Walkin Wheels diminished when he got Vestibular and a head tilt. After he got stronger a month into the onset I decided he could probably use the additional front wheels to help rehabilitate him. Although I help him quite a bit with steering and pulling him along, he seems to enjoy it and is getting stronger. He continues to do his part and does what he can to walk using his chair and on flat surfaces he can propel himself. Initially I got the two wheeled chair to help with is hip dysplasia, but with the additional front two wheels he is learning how to walk straight again with the vestibular and head tilt. Customer service had patience with me during the ordering process and I was lucky enough to purchase the used version, which helped save significantly. The shipping was pricey because I’m in Hawaii, but less than any other quotes I could find and the wheels showed up in a few days after ordering. I was pleasantly surprised. The used or reconditioned wheels I purchased are like new and I challenge anyone to tell me they looked used or lack functionality.

I very much appreciate receiving a return credit after the 30 day limit, since my adored dog Pike passed at age 16 before being able to use the front wheels for the wheelchair. The wheelchair itself was fabulous for him. It was the only way for him to walk around and he got to go on many beautiful walks before he passed, for months. Thank you so much!

Our wheelchair arrived in a timely manner. I was impressed when I opened the box with the quality of the chair. It was a really pretty color and very sturdy. All of the pieces snapped together easily, and at the end of the story, came apart very easily. We had a little bit of a tough time adjusting it to fit our dog because she’s a tripod and has trouble standing still. Once we got it fitted to her properly, she used it immediately. Unfortunately, she’s too old, suffers from dementia and walks in circles. She ended up tripping over the chair and it just didn’t work for her. We returned the chair with no problem, minus a restocking fee. All in all, the company and chair were great, it just happened not to work for us.

Superb customer service. Professional, courteous and helpful. Their products are great, but due to my dog’s condition, the one I ordered did not work for her. Walkin’ Pets quickly handles a return with reasonable restocking and shipping fees. Whenever in need for similar products I’ll be using them in the future.
