I had someone help me to make sure I ordered the correct size. Unfortunately we had to let our little Kaida go before it arrived. She developed pneumonia for the third time. The emergency vet said she could try to save her but she wasn’t optimistic. We didn’t want her to suffer any more. Consequently my order is on its way back to you.

Took a chance on buying a returned walker for a reduced price. It was perfect! Well packaged, every item looked new with a fast delivery. So grateful for the help with my budget for this essential item. My Kady is 12 and has degenerative myelopathy which means time is precious. It's a costly investment for an item that won't be used very long but the joy in my Kady's face yesterday as we walked through fields and roamed our neighborhood brought me to tears and filled my heart with gratitude.

Winter at Walkin’ Pets was really responsive and informative throughout the buying process. After we received the wheels she was very helpful in the adjustments that had to be made to the wheelchair to suit my dog’s needs. I had to return a harness because it was too big on our dog and the process was really easy. The only criticisms I would give is that most of the videos are geared toward chairs with back wheels only (front wheels are considered an addition). I had to really search for videos about the quad chair. There were items that came with the back wheels that weren’t applicable for the quad chair which I didn’t realize at first. Also, the adjustments I had to make for my dog leaves the side rail right next to the side of his head. He was banging his head on the left rail (he is walking a bit lopsided due to his disabilities). The easy solution was to get little tennis balls that are used for walkers. This protects his head from the rail. Maybe Walkin’ Pets could make some caps for the ends of the rails for protection? As mentioned earlier, Winter was helpful in making final adjustments to the chair. She was really receptive to me sending pictures for her to look at so she could help our pup fit in the chair properly. She got back to me right away. Our dog, Sky, is almost 16 and can’t stand on his own any longer. This chair has given him so much comfort and enjoyment and has helped him feel more like his old self. Even though he can’t walk in it yet, he is able to eat his meals standing up which he loves and we love. He’s trying like hell to walk in his chair and he is able to spin a bit which is a big triumph to us. Pricing is really fair and worth every cent we spent. I never thought that something like this would be affordable but Walkin’ Pets makes it possible. One more thing I want to mention is that I messed up my order and ordered an accessory I didn’t need. Winter immediately told me the item wasn’t needed for the chair I ordered and took it off the order. Other companies would not have cared and would not have contacted me to make the adjustment. I so appreciated that. 😀. Don’t hesitate on this, it’s so worth it.

I purchased a large wheelchair for my Labrador that suffers from a seriously osteoarthritic hock. It arrived in good time and was packaged box inside a box, which is always good with such a product. As a career aerospace machinist, I can honestly say the materials, design and workmanship are about as good as can be expected. Assembly itself was rather easy, but I took my time fitting it to my Lab so she could walk with as little weight on the bad leg yet still use the leg. Our first outing was just down the street. The second was longer and she pooped! Third outing was on an easy trail, which she did easily with tail wagging the entire time, and.........she pee'd while in the wheelchair! I know she doesn't understand why I'm putting her in the wheelchair but seems to have accepted it easily.
