Not liking the return policy. I am stuck with about a $100 item which is beyond the return date. The item arrived while I was out of town for a month and is not a good fit for my dog.

Good Customer Service
Video online directions are different than the written ones that come with the walk-in wheels. The written ones are frustrating with the pictures. I wish I would have used the video first as it would have saved several hours of frustration. I called the customer service and the person was helpful and it made it better but still doesn’t make dog use his back legs more, which is what I was hoping it would help with.

My Goldendoodle Dolly
My Goldendoodle Dolly was 11 years old with a neurological issue that made the use off her hind legs difficult at best. I tried the product and she tried hard to walk with the wheels. We had to put Dolly down soon after finding that she had other life ending issues. I truly loved Dolly and would have done anything for her including the purchase of your product.
Response from WalkinpetsJun 21, 2024
Clint, I am so sorry to hear about Dolly. It is clear how much she meant to you, and I can only imagine how difficult this time must be. We are grateful that you gave our product a try and that Dolly had your unwavering love and support. Please know that our hearts go out to you during this time. If there is anything we can do to support you, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Mixed Feelings
I’ve had this for about a month, and here are my thoughts. I had to buy a wheelchair asap for my German Shepard that is paralyzed in the rear. This option was more affordable than getting a custom one made, and I needed an immediate solution. Customer Service was polite, It shipped fast and is relatively easy to assemble. There are design features I’m not too keen on, primarily the rear leg support. It’s awkward for me to get the dog into the wheelchair since she’s a larger breed. I’m by myself most of the time, so I don’t have a second person to help me get the dog in like shown in the instructional videos. The stirrups for the feet to be raised off the floor are pretty cheap quality, and do not adequately support my dog’s legs. The elastic string is too thin for larger dogs, so her feet still almost drag on the floor (even after adjusting the length), and the foam foot rests need to be longer because they shift around too much while the dog is in motion. Her foot ends up resting on the elastic directly instead of resting on the foam. Urine still gets on the rear leg support, even after cutting down the foam to a shorter size to let my dog’s lady parts to be more “free” when urinating. This device was supposed to help save my back and help cut down on cleaning up “accidents”, but I’m still spending a considerable amount of time cleaning the wheelchair, washing pee off the dog, and washing the floor. I do not like how far out the wheels stick out. I don’t live in a rural area or a suburb with lots of space. I live in a townhouse community that feels constricting and has plenty of obstacles to prevent my dog from walking with ease. I don’t think the belly support makes much of a difference. The dog has tipped over a lot, and the wheels are constantly getting caught on corners and crevices. I don’t like the harness design, and I wish there was a “T” strap going down the center of the chest versus a strap going across the chest for better support. I wish there were color options to choose from, not just for the wheelchair itself, but the accessories too. The wheelchair is too bulky, in my opinion, and I’m going to be searching for a custom made alternative that is more streamlined for my living environment and for my dog’s specific needs. I’m grateful I have this chair in the meantime, but it’s too expensive for a mass produced item to be experiencing these design issues. I think this works better for medium and small breeds.

Customer service could be a little more helpful
It was a little big so we had tonget new legs for ours, I feel they should of been exchanged and we shouldn't of had to pay for the new ones. Our dog a St. Bernard has a hard time walking in it, we called and ask for advice but didn't get to much help.

Worked great for a year
Love that there was a custom size for my corgi. Set up was easy. Harness was easy to fit as well and comfortable for my corgi to use. Unfortunately within 4-6 months, i noticed my right wheel kept readjusting it's height on its own. I notice my corgi would walk very lopsided and I realized the button to hold the height in place was defective. A year later my corgi developed DM in his front limbs and can no longer use the wheelchair. Wish there was additional parts for owners to purchase if something like that became an issue. Also with the wheel being defective, I wish there was parts for that to purchase as well.

Please reach out to us directly if you need replacement parts or any further support. We’re here to assist you in any way we can.

Harness was too big
I bought a refurbished walker for my dog so I am unable to return it. The walker fits him great. Meaning it is the correct width and height for his needs. He meets the weight requirements for a medium. He is a 30lb dog. When I received it, the size “medium” harness that goes with the walker fits like a large on him. He is swimming in it. Even with tightening it as small as it goes, it’s still too big. I think the wrong size harness was sent to us. I ended up having to go on Amazon and buying a different harness. But I’m really disappointed because the harness that came with the wheels was more comfortable. It was just completely unusable for him and even refurbished, I still had to spend a lot of money on this and he had to wait for it to be shipped. It was disappointing when it didn’t fit. So he had to wait longer until I can find him another harness that might work. Therefore, none of the attachments such as the belly band or anything work for us because he can’t use the original harness.. which is a bummer because he could really benefit from the support of the belly band.
