Better late than never.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because it took 2 days longer to get here than promised. I don't know if that's something Handicapped Pets can control. Everything else was great.

The only trouble we have had has been with the seat that he puts his legs in, it's held together with a small strip of Velcro that kept coming open. I used a zip tie to keep it together. Other than that he is getting around just fine in his wheel chair.

We bought this harness to fit on a growing Jack Russell puppy with deformed front legs so he could be placed inside a custom built quad frame chair that we could adjust as he grows. Tug weighs 8 pounds right now, and the harness just just fits him on the snuggest adjustment. It is very well made and fairly secure, although he has succeeded in front crawling out of it once while practicing in his chair. He is very strong and energetic, and I think that we need to raise the front of his chair a bit to help prevent that happening again. We expect him to hit 14 pounds plus full grown, so being bigger will help contain him more securely as well.

We love the product. We were disappointed in the delivery at first. We ordered the product based on receiving it within 5 days as stated. We waited two days and there was not any shipment confirmation. We called and spoke with Colleen and she looked into it. She called me back and assured me it was on its way overnight. Our dog now has his mobility back. Thank You Ralph Dyson

The equipment was great!!! I was able to put it together using the manual and videos, especially the videos. The booties fell apart on the first walk. They are very flimsy. I had to put some other booties on top of them. Also, the padding on the harness is already starting to fall apart and I have only been using it for about 2 weeks now. It would be nice if we could buy spare parts. All in all, wheelchair is just what Sadie needed and I think she really likes the mobility. All the adjustments were great and easy so that it fit perfectly to her body. Good product.

These wheelchairs work but they have to be adjusted to the dog just right. My dog wanted to go backwards at times and I used all the different adjustments but could not get it to work well for him, but it did help. The larger wheelchairs wont go thru some doorways and makes a problem.

We assembled the chair in less than 30 minutes with no problems. Our 165 lb Great Dane girl ( back legs paralyzed), had a chest that was too large to fit in the harness. I cut the harness and 6” from an old collar and sewed it to make larger(worked great). It gave Maddie a chance to walk with other dogs and she loved it. We did buy the largest available and it wouldn’t go through doorways, but highly recommend this for anyone.

The wheelchair that we purchased from Walkin Pets has been an absolute treasure for our pup with DM. We have been able to have an extra 12 months with our baby all thanks to the chair.
