I am having an extremely difficult time fitting this to my dog. The videos make it look simple but i just can't get this to a proper fit. It's difficult to put him in this and then i can't make any adjustments while he is in the piece. Maybe it is just me as i am not, by any means, a professional with dogs and especially with my handicapped dog. It has been frustrating as i really think this can work but i am just having difficulty making it fit. I would gladly change my review if someone could contact me and maybe provide some help? Or recommend where i can take my dog, locally, where someone who is trained in the "fitting" of this can be of assistance. Otherwise, I will be returning this for a refund. Thanks, Phil

I don't appreciate having to pack and ship this back at my expense. Most companies will give you a shipping label to return items. And on top of that, this long list of things that better not happen or you won't get your money back.

The socks I bought for my dog didn’t stay on. Kept slipping off even with the Velcro ties.

Very difficult to place the dog in wheelchair by one person. The rubber straps have rubbed against my dogs skin and caused redness and swelling in under side. When my dog turns her head, she hits the metal sides holding her up. Sigh…. Not a good match for us!

Your company and products are a godsend. Without the wheelchair I purchased for my dog he would no longer be here. I’m blessed to so far have four more months with him. Bringing him out to my favorite place the Pachoug StateForest, and his favorite place Hopeville pond. And your staff is amazing. Thank you

Poor Customer Service. Be prepared for battle fatigue if you are searching for specific answers on products. Honestly, I never wanted to walk away from a product before based on the quality of customer support and information provided on the website. First, the information on the product, its use, assembly, and sizing is convoluted and inaccessible. The flow of information on the website takes visitors on a meandering path that rarely ends in straightforward information. For me, this was an immediate red flag that any issues with the product would be blamed on the customer for "not reading properly". My first email inquiry was met with a copy and pasted text missing full sentences rather than a direct response to my personal inquiry. It could be company policy, outsources, or both, but it felt insincere and unhelpful. After finally receiving a tailored response, I learned that no matter how I navigated the website, I wouldn't have selected the right product for me without their help. There is no continuity in this assistance, as upon checkout I had yet another employee confirming the sizing of my purchase before my order could be confirmed, which took several days. Finally, the assembly book for the wheelchairs is as unhelpful as everything else on their site. It was neither straightforward nor reassuring. I would highly recommend the company approach a consultant to assist them with their literature, both on the site and associated with their project, as none of it was written with any consideration for customers. Lord know they charge enough for their product to afford it.

The company seems super supportive. Guidance, videos, online and hard copy manuals. Many, many emails. Easy to reach out and get a response. The apparatus itself is adequately engineered. Highly adjustable as long as you're in the right size range. Price was much more affordable than other doggie wheelchair providers. I was quite clear when I ordered this that I was dealing with a 6 1/2 yo, 155# female Great Dane with an FCE. I thought that this was a do-able device that might provide her with a little therapy getting back up on her feet. While it might, eventually, if I can get working. For me, being unable to lift 155# alone means that I need help. The design pretty much requires that a dog her size be able to sit. Like, sit for a treat or shake paws-type sit. Clip in the front and then hoist the rear up and clip in. The whole product line, imo, is geared to dogs who are completely paralyzed in the rear end only. If, like my dog, your dog cannot sit up/lacks strength in their front legs, be prepared to get creative. We have taken to laying the device on its side. laying her on her side, pulling her legs through, strapping her across her back with the belly strap to keep her from falling out and then lifting her into a standing position using every bit of energy we can. It is not easy. When I placed the order, I got an email asking me to confirm I wanted an XLarge. That they only sell that size to Danes and Mastiffs and the like. Obviously, I answered yes and they sent it fairly quickly. When I got it I realized right away that this was not at all what I thought it was going to be. When I wrote in for suggestions, I was told that they don't sell many of these to Danes. I felt a little bit duped, I have to admit. As if they kind of knew that a dog that size in their device might be a "challenge". At that point though, what are your choices? Give it a shot or euthanize a dog that isn't willing to give up. Later they came back with the suggestion of buying front and rear harnesses with handles. The harnesses also have clips that work with the wheelchair. Thinking this is the ideal solution to my problem, I ordered XL harnesses at their suggestion. They, too, arrived reasonably quickly but when we tried them on they were way too big. Hard to believe that XL is too big for her, but it was. I contacted them and they said they would exchange possibly with a small reduction for restocking or damage. I'm thinking its worth it to get a smaller, more workable size that might just make this whole thing work for her, so I shipped them back - at my own cost. Today I got a letter saying that they were returned unsanitary, unusable and would be disposed of. They had a little fur on them after I sticky rolled them. That's it. They were never used, only tried on. Not dirty, not scuffed up. Sent back in original packaging with original tags in the very box they were shipped to me in. I have 30 days to decide if I want them to just throw them away or send them back. Of course I said send them back. I can't tell you if I'm going to get mine back though, Will edit this post when I get back whatever they send. In the meantime, I'm finding many, many refurbished units on Ebay, being sold directly from Walkin Pets. I'm beginning to think there's something less than kosher going on here. There were a few, little white hairs on the fuzzy inside of the harness. Hard for me to get off completely, but with someone with compressed air for example, probably pretty easy. I have also found several of these and other Walkin Pets products for sale from individuals on Facebook Marketplace. Those that responded indicated they were just trying to recoup the cost spent on the items. No further information. My very strong suggestion to you, owner of a giant dog, is to spend the time combing Ebay, FB MP, Craig's list, Let Go, etc and purchase this system second hand rather than going to the source. Save money, help out someone else who either lost a dog or got screwed like I did, and avoid lining the pockets of people who seem to have less than ethical business practices.
