Horrible company in every sense of the word. Had a loan that was paid on time every time (for years)... all the sudden, they stopped accepting our payments,,, that's right, they continued to return our payments (nothing changed on our end). No explanation given as unbelievable as it sounds. Now they damaged my otherwise perfect credit and offered no solution.

Adriana horrible experience
I’ve had a positive experience with VyStar overall. I have excellent credit, and the in-branch staff have always been friendly and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with Adriana in the underwriting department was completely different. She was extremely dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional, with little interest in listening to my concerns or providing any meaningful assistance.
I’ve dealt with other credit unions and major banks, including Chase, and have never had such a frustrating experience. I sincerely hope upper management reviews how customers are being treated within the underwriting department.

The credit app and website crashes…
The credit app and website crashes constantly. The services on the app crash as well and issue error messages.
They also don't know how to manage my money. Currently, they have me charged 3 times for a 1 time purchase.

Are you aware of the growing concerns…
Are you aware of the growing concerns among Stockbridge taxpayers regarding the financial performance and taxpayer costs associated with the VyStar Amphitheater?
Your name is prominently attached to this facility, and as residents, we would like to understand what VyStar’s partnership with the City actually provides to the taxpayers who continue to support this venue financially\.
As a credit union that promotes financial responsibility and community involvement, we are asking VyStar to take an interest in the financial concerns of the community whose name and tax dollars are connected to this facility\.
**What is VyStar doing to ensure this partnership is also benefiting the citizens of Stockbridge—not simply providing value to the City and the VyStar brand?**
Stockbridge taxpayers deserve transparency\.

Joint accounts showing up on my credit…
Joint accounts showing up on my credit score that are not my accounts. Just bad service and a terrible online banking experience - including the lockout period a few years ago when online banking crashed for several weeks while they cutover to a banking system.
After 32 years with Vystar - I'm gone.
Don't bank here! You have been warned.

Disappearing Money
Disappearing Money
Vystar Bank sent money to close out one of our accounts in January and, admittedly, sent it to the wrong address.
The check, as verified by Vystar in July, has not been cashed and was not returned. The money is not in my account either but is clearly being held by the bank.
Vystar representatives said I had to wait 90 days and sign a form. I am not a lawyer, but by all accounts, the form made me liable no matter what happens. I am a decades long member with several substantial accounts and a perfect track record.
Don’t trust these people with your money.

Soon to be a Former Loyal Member of Over 20 Years – Extremely Disappointed
I know everyone says that if they can rate this institution lower than a 1 they would do it in a heart beat. Based on my experiences, I am surprised they start with a 1. Also, VyStar is the only credit union that do not send surveys out to their members. That is obvious why…..here on trust pilot they are rated under a 2! That is not good at all. I have been a member of VyStar Credit Union for more than 20 years. During that time, I have never missed a payment, never defaulted on a loan, and have successfully paid off multiple auto loans and other accounts through VyStar. I have always considered myself a loyal and responsible member.
Recently, I applied for a credit card with VyStar, which would have been my second credit card through the credit union. I was informed that VyStar's policy only allows members to have one credit card account. While I was initially disappointed, I completely understood and respected their policy.
A representative contacted me and provided two options:
1. Increase the credit limit on my existing VyStar credit card, or
2. Proceed with the new credit card application and close my current card.
The reason I was seeking additional credit was simple: I wanted to transfer and eliminate a higher-interest credit card from another financial institution.
After considering my options, I told VyStar I would prefer to simply increase the credit limit on my existing card. Less than 30 seconds after making that decision, I was informed that my request had been declined.
After more than two decades of loyalty, an impeccable payment history, and years of trusting VyStar with my business, this was extremely disappointing. It felt as though my relationship with the credit union and my proven track record meant very little.
As a result, I have begun transferring my accounts to another credit union that appears to value long-term member relationships and customer loyalty. Once the transition is complete, I will no longer be doing business with VyStar.
Before choosing VyStar, I encourage prospective members to read the reviews posted over the past few years. Many of the negative experiences come from long-standing members like myself who have supported this institution for years. Unfortunately, the VyStar I joined over 20 years ago is not the same organization it is today.
My gut feeling was telling me not to apply. However, I could not think of any reason why I shouldn’t considering my history. I totally regret not listening to my gut feeling. VyStar obviously don’t build relationships with their members. Very disappointed. People please do yourself justice and read all the negative reviews! It gets worse every month based upon n the posted dates of these reviews!
