I am new user of vultr, I use many hosting like godaddy, aws, SiteGround without any problem, when I use their hosting, they say I come from Iran, I tell them it must their system error, I am from Hong Kong, and I never have any relationship with Iran, they ask me to send identity card, I send it, but they require extra that I am holding ID card with face and sign, it is very sensitive and it can use to loan money or illegal activity, I was request to use zoom to show my real face and chat, it is the best way to show real person than a photo holding id. Their way can’t proof I am real person using the account but it can resell my personal information, I know it can ask the loan company to lend money if I do that, I think they want to steal my personal information and sell to other company, they never reply about my request using zoom to check, they just want steal my identity for doing illegal activity, it is the first time that I need to do, they suspend my account now and “LOST ALL DATA”, I do ecommerce since 1999, it never happen in my life, please stop to using this company. They can’t trust, never. And after I post this article, my PayPal account is stolen and the login and password is same as my PayPal, so I guess they or their hacker stole my account, i just resolve with PayPal

I'm using them to host my Tradestation windows app which does automated trading. I can't tolerate any downtime. I just couldn't be happier. To set up my server exactly as I wanted it configured was SIMPLE... the UX was EXCELLENT. Management GUI is EXCELLENT. I couldn't be happier. VERY easy to navigate and do what you want. Server has been 100% reliable. All support tickets get responded to in <5 minutes when I thought I had an issue... that's at all hours of day and night. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I've used other hosting providers, been using computers for 50 years, and it doesn't get any better than this.

Mostly a trustworthy provider, server performance is on average a bit better than the competition but on plans with shared resources they can get a little upset if you use too much for too long time and start to rate limit you usage, I'm fine with rate limits but it shouldn't really be a big deal. Just be open and honest with how much resources can actually be used. 17 locations under the same provider that can be managed via the same API is great. They seem to expand with new locations every now and then which is also great. Prices are very reasonable but the larger plans can be a bit pricey, I guess it's because of the dedicated resources. Like many others these days additional IPv4 addresses is hard to obtain and sending emails over port 25 is nearly impossible, not because I personally need those features but many people seems to want that. Firewall is ok but it only blocks incoming traffic so it's not really suitable for reselling yet as you can't really prevent your own customers from doing naughty stuff.

If you're looking for something really powerful and interesting in cloud hosting, you can't avoid to check Vultr. Vultr is a competitor with GREAT network, absolute winning performance of VPSes (really great results from benches if compare to other competitors in the market). Okay support (not great, but okay). No issues since starting to use them, zero downtimes, zero issues for last 5 years. I switch DO and Linode to Vultr, and not regret yet.

They gave 100 dollar after 1 week, they take it from me. More than that i charged my account with 10 dollar and they take half of that, and you should know that i never run a server there.

Using Vultr for a years. No problems at all.

They gave me free 50$(for month) after two weeks they want me to pay for my cloud(i choose 48$ for month plan), simple lying. dont trust them, keep your credit card save. Digital Ocean better !

Can't describe all their "cruelty"! I put 3 of my websites on Vultr's VPS, one of which was reported by copyright regarding the article copyright. They closed my account and this meant that all 3 of my websites could not be accessed. I asked for a backup, but they were silent. I thought they should close one of my sites for review while the other two weren't affected, but they didn't! I will never come back again, and the remaining $ 1500 balance is given to them!
