Everyone talking bad about vultr but it's actually better than most big providers like GCP, AWS, Azure prices are competitive and support is really good they have never let me down with any issues or questions i had. BGP is free which is amazing but for my usage case vultr caps some protocols like gre, wireguard to 200mbps speed. Overall it's a great cloud provider but with it's downsides

The bad reviews here don't reflect my experience. I've been on Vultr for 9 years now. Initially they had just a few offering with great value, and their support was easy to reach. They have a nice control panel which works well. Lately I have noticed that they have multiplied their products which makes the experience worse and the value for money has gone down too. Seeing that most of the bad reviews are from new users and for their new services (GPU, etc.) I think they should concentrate on upgrading their core "cash cow" services such as VPS hosting which hasn't changed much for many years and is threatening to fall behind competition.

I have been a loyal Vultr customer since 2016, consistently relying on their services to host a wide range of websites. The user interface is clean and intuitive, allowing for the rapid deployment of new servers in just a few minutes. Over the years, whenever I've needed help, their support team has proven to be responsive and effective, providing clear solutions to my questions. For core performance, value, and ease of management, Vultr remains a top-tier choice. Despite these strengths, the service is significantly hampered by an overly strict and frustrating account verification process. I have repeatedly encountered issues when setting up accounts for my clients, as my attempts are often flagged for "abuse," likely due to registrations from a shared IP address. This creates an unnecessary obstacle for legitimate, paying users who are ready to use the service. While fraud prevention is important, Vultr's current system is a major deterrent, and they should reconsider this aggressive approach to make their platform more accessible to new, genuine customers.

mi idioma nativo es español motivo por el cual así lo escribiré por lo menos para que ustedes al igual que yo lo traduzcan. en efecto utilizo la plataforma por que es buena , estable aun que a veces se ponen un poco estrictos con sus protocolos para por ejemplo poder incrementarte vps y es algo que no entiendo imaginemos que tengo yo un negocio de venta de pan y en una semana de ventas buenas vendo 10 piezas de pronto llega un proveedor y me ofrece comprarme 100 piezas por dia obviamente pues yo como vendedor estaria feliz y sin pensarlo se los vendería quizás solo llegaría a acuerdos de pago y listo pues esto no pasa en vultr si por ejemplo necesito 10 servers mas casi necesito me autoricen tres organismos gubernamentales y la bendición de el clero en roma para poder brindarme un incremento entonces aquí es lo único que se complicado de ahí en mas es buena la plataforma Saludos y recomiendo mucho esta plataforma

The servers are not bad. I understand that the connection is affected by our local network in China. But it would be great if vultr can improve the connection from China, just like old Linode Tokyo servers. Perhaps you may improve Korea and Tokyo connections first. Generally, vultr servers are good, the prices and customer service. I recommend them. I have been using vultr for years. Thanks!

Great service, but room for improvement I’ve been using Vultr for our developments for a while, and I’m very satisfied with the performance and stability of the instances. It’s a solid platform that fits our needs well, and we use it across multiple projects. A couple of improvements I’d love to see: the ability to move instances between zones would be really helpful for easier resource management and optimization. Also, having a data center in Argentina would be fantastic, as it would allow us to reduce latency and pay in pesos, which would be very convenient for us. Thank you, Vultr, for your service!
