Tried to rent GPUs
Tried to rent GPUs, they told me I need to deposit, so I deposited $1000. Then they told me I still can't rent GPUs and I need to wait 60 days. Additionally, I can not even spend on regular compute except for a few $5/month nodes! So now they have my money and won't allow me to spend it on any services. Update: After continually demanding Vultr allow the deposit to at least be spent on non-GPU compute, they agreed to increase the account limits. While I still have no access to GPUs which was the purpose of the deposit, the funds are now at least spendable on other services.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it would be to fund your account, expecting immediate access to GPU resources, only to encounter additional restrictions. Access to certain high-demand resources, including GPUs, may be subject to account reviews, spending limits, or eligibility requirements designed to protect the platform and its customers. However, we understand your concern that these requirements may not have been clear before you deposited funds. We recognize that having account credit available but being unable to access the services you intended to use is a disappointing experience. Your feedback regarding transparency around GPU eligibility and account restrictions is valuable and will be shared with the appropriate team. We encourage you to contact [email protected] with your account details so our team can review your specific situation, explain any applicable restrictions, and discuss available options.
