i paid for a movie and played it, and it would stop freeze up start up again then stop then start then stop start up and stop start up and start and stop, that,s what i watched never did finish the movie, your service sucks bad bad bad.... i recommend that you not waist your time with vudu or you will be cursed by vodo and lose you hard earned cash.......

I bought a digital copy of It 2017 on Saturday January 6th, 2018. Vudu customer care have been jerking me around on getting a code now for 4 days. I'm absolutely to the end of my rope with this especially since i have sent pictures of my receipt and everything they have asked for. I am so angry right now i may NEVER USE VUDU AGAIN.

I bought 2 DVD's from Walmart that had VUDU stickers on them that said "FREE digital download from VUDU if you buy this DVD". I got "Planet of the Apes" & "Friday the 13th". I try to download the movies and Friday the 13 didn't download all the way and Planet of the Apes didn't download at all. I called VUDU to get my movies on my VUDU page and they said they would fix it. 1 week went by, no movies on my page. 2 weeks went by I call they said they now needed a copy of my Walmart receipt and they wanted pictures of the DVD boxes and they would give me my movies. I send the the receipt and pics. 3 weeks go by, and still no movies on my VUDU page. I call again, they say their working on it and have to ask the studios if they can put it on my VUDU page. I assume they were referring to Hollywood Studios. It's going on a month & a few days. I never did get the other half of my Friday the 13th movie nor did I receive the Planet of the Apes at all. I have my e-mails between us and would love to post them here so you guys can actually see the way they're acting with me. I feel I was scammed into buying DVD's in the name of more American theft against more unsuspecting victims.

Let me start by saying I loved vudu at one time. I was able to put our movie codes into it for easy access to stuff on the go and I was able to buy and rent movies easily. Now, this was a total of 62 movies total on my vudu account when all was good and then turned horrible. One day I just couldn't login. I called. Because it turned out my account was taken over by someone else. I was told I'd hear back in 5 days after review. I had them delete my billing information in the meantime. I had to keep calling back because I never heard from them. Two weeks in and still no resolution. I was able to verify all the billing information and card number used on the account and still no help. Three weeks and four weeks and still nothing. And they say it has to be submitted up to the top tier because they are the only ones who can make decisions based on payments. And still nothing. And they tell you that you cannot speak with the top tier people and the top tier people will only email you when they are ready. Still. Nothing. And now I have lost the ability to access my 62 movies that I paid for and can prove but it doesn't matter. And they can't change anything because the person who called and changed the account to their name has all the billing information too. A complete and utter mess and they said I could despute the charges with my bank to then have the account locked and never accessed. They actually told me that would be what would happen. So I'd only recover the money for the movies I purchased through vudu and none of the digital copies out in. And even then they said they could not guarantee that since I did admit to buying the movies when I was speaking with them on the phone. Completely horrible customer and managerial services from vudu. How hard is it to see a person used their card to purchase movies and say okay this is who the movies belong to. It's not rocket science and shouldn't be that complicated. They do not take care of their customers and their customer's private account information and they get out of it by citing they have "policies" in place that create these so called rules. Do not recommend you ever use them. It may be great for awhile but the moment an issue arises where you need to call them for help... you will be left feeling robbed and helpless. It's a horrible feeling and they don't care. That's the worst part. You know they could do the right thing but they choose not to.

VUDU streaming is ok nothing special but subtitles are always out of sync and it sucks ruins the movie. Connectivity with uV is good but still fix the damm subtitles.

Bad streaming service, customer support doesn't want to help at all. Stick with Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu.

I purchased a tablet that stated it came with free VUDU trial. When I attempted to start the trial, the site did not let me, stating that I was making an error in entering the code. I called VUDU and asked for assistance. They informed me that the code I was attempting to use had expired 11 months ago even though NO expiration date was listed in the paperwork that came with the code. They then stated that I would just have to purchase it like everyone else but that I could send them a copy of my receipt so that this would not continue to happen with other customers. I did send them a copy of my receipt and the paperwork that was included with my tablet regarding VUDU and all I received in return were more emails that stated they could not read my receipt and to send it again. Needless to say, after a while of this, I stopped emailing them since it was obvious they were not only unwilling to assist me with my issue but didn't care about future customers who would be running into the same issue. I will never use VUDU and have had it removed from the devices in my home and my family's homes. I will continue to have it removed, and hopefully, these people will either go out of business or learn to change their practices in dealing with customers.

So Ive used Vudu for several years and for the most part I've enjoyed the service with only the occasional streaming freeze or glitch. i have redeemed several hundred movies and enjoy having digital access to my movies. I had my first issue with a code not redeeming, first i received an invalid code message and was directed to the myuv.com site to redeem instead of the vudu.com site. well there i received the error code that it had already been redeemed. i then contacted them and even though i clearly specified the previous instruction etc. my response was the same. Well after over a dozen emails, and after complying with their request for a photo of the card from the movie with the code, and even sending them screen shots of my entire library from both vudu.com and myuv.com i still have no working code or explanation as to why i got a bad code to begin with or reason for not providing a replacement code. I find it terribly disappointing that even after jumping through their hoops they were no help, or that they required3 screenshots of my entire library from both sites, they are linked for starters and for those unfamiliar they are sorted alphabetically so i shouldn't have need to supply screenshots of a couple pages showing the movie before and after with the movie in question clearly not listed. clearly this is just a tactic to frustrate loyal customers. Ill definitely look for an alternative method of digitally collecting movies.... In a business plagued with pirating youd think theyd treat their customers a little better Update my issue has finally been escalated hopefully to someone that can help.....
