If I treated my customer half as poorly as this company does, I'd lose all my customers very fast. Fraud is rare. Everyone with a little inside info about finance knows this. Financial institutions like banks and this one here try to offload as much fraud risk onto their customers as they can. This company has pushed this unfair practice to the limit. I don't remember EVER trying to access my retirement accounts without running into problems with this company. That is because they have made it all but impossible to have a smooth, easy login process. They have nobody answering calls after 4pm. How convenient! The company handing perhaps tens if not hundreds of millions of people's money does not take calls after 4pm! You try to solve the problems, they send you a verification email, but that email exists nowhere in any of my mailboxes. "Check your SPAM folder!" No! you send email from an address that will not be blocked by SPAM. Everyone with a little inside knowledge if IT knows this is possible, but costs a little bit. They don't want to pay that cost! Supposing email didn't go into SPAM folder, why should I have to check ALL my email accounts? Why can't they give you a hint which account they sent it to? That's because they want to absolutely minimize risk to themselves! Well, a few of us understand all this and we let others know about it too. Look they have 1 star from hundreds of reviews! What's more telling than that? If you can take your money out and put it elsewhere, like Fidelity for example, do it. I used to have Fidelity, and I am gonna take all my savings out of this one and go back to them because I genuinely feel they cared more about the customers. No I am not paid by them, nor do or did I work there. You probably can do better no matter which other institution you take your money to. Good luck!

The customer service is useless
The customer service is useless, foreign accents make it had to figure out what they are saying. I have a balance of $57.06 in my account. They are telling me in a letter if I have $1000 or less, I can request a distribution of the balance at one time (or take the RMD of $2.22) I am 78 years old. It would take 25 years to collect the $2.22 RMD's. I really don't think I will be alive in 25 years.I requested a distribution of the balance and they are charging me $50.00 to process my request. Leaving me wih $7.06. The representative refused my request to speak with a supervisor. Very poor customer service!!

I worked for a trusted company… UPS ……
I worked for a trusted company… UPS … I’m not sure why UPS chose one of the worst possible companies TO TRUST OUR retirement. UPS CHOSE Voya … 🟥➖ Voya is a nightmare and VOYA’S REPUTATION is the pits. Could it be because of the Teamsters? I have no idea. But all their customers seem to hate them and none of them are happy. Look at these reviews❗️ When you put your money in Voya, not only do you have problems finding out how much money you actually have invested and how they’re investing it…. BUT if you try to withdraw any of your money…. Good luck.🩸 Voya can delay you for weeks. The last time I tried to withdraw money I had MANY problems. I had my bank contact Voya…. To make sure next time 🦋✅ THE TRANSACTIONS would BE COMPLETED in a timely manner. I attempted to withdraw some money from Voya in August initially and weeks later, I hadn’t heard anything about getting money put into my bank account 🎵🔺 this time I initially created the withdrawal about two weeks ago. Voya said it took a few days to complete the transaction but that doesn’t mean it went into the bank❗️. After waiting for the transaction to be completed. Voya then told me it would be 10 days to actually go into the account as direct deposit. ⁉️. After 10 days, my money still wasn’t in the bank. I called them again…. ☎️⭐️➖ They gave some excuse about having the wrong numbers; however, I’ve had them confirm the numbers with my bank previously… they told me everything was correct. However,, when I talked to them today they AGAIN said everything was correct but… I still hadn’t received any money they blamed the error on MY BANK. They said they were mailing a check to me, instead of checking the numbers and trying direct deposit again, which is supposed to be there within three days⁉️. This seems strange to me since they said that the transaction has been completed on the AI phone call. 🎥💰 But as it turns out, VOYA’s excuse was the money still had NOT been deposited because Voya didn’t get a note from the bank saying that they received the money. Voya had not sent the money to the credit U. ‼️. Without asking me, they were sending me the money by check to my address. . The check takes anywhere between a day and two weeks to arrive. You can bet it’s gonna take more than two weeks even though the law said that they should have it deposited directly in 3 to 5 days. Not a chance! WEEKS later, I still didn’t have my money….that’s the way Voya works… either they always underestimate the time or they lie, Add the investigation by the SEC; numerous lawsuits by investors; and possibly potentially a criminal case… nothing motivates them. Let me no matter how you approach trying to get your money, it has the same result: you are not going to get the money when they promise or when they law specifies,❗️You will get the money. ☎️🔺 weeks later then statute and policy dictates. That doesn’t make any sense to me. It seems like Voya promises to have the money to you in 3 to 5 days and it ends up taking more than a month‼️. If you’re unfortunate enough to have an account with Voya … MY GOD ‼️ I would say, take a look at their average customer rating of one star…. the lowest of any possible retirement company… and it’s been that way for a few years now.. if you read the reviews to decide where to invest your money or put your retirement… DO NOT DO IT WITH VOYA I FEEL DISGUSTED WITH my PREVIOUS COMPANY FOR USING VOYA ‼️. THERE ARE NUMEROUS LAWSUITS AGAINST Voya. The securities exchange commission is INVESTIGATING THEM FOR POSSIBLE CRIMINAL ACTIVITY I DON’T KNOW IF IT WAS ALWAYS THIS WAY, BUT I SUSPECT IT WAS always this way. 🟥🔥 TAKE MY ADVICE. DO NOT PUT YOUR RETIREMENT MONEY IN VOYA. This has been going on for more than a month and will probably take another two weeks. 🩸‼️ So the date of experience has been over a long period of time and would’ve 1been over six weeks or more. This horrible experience is not over yet and whatever time they tell me it will take is always much longer.😟🌎 For something that was supposed to take 3 to 5 days … it seems to take forever‼️. This experience has been very stressful for me … and I have no idea when this is going to end.

This is one of those cases when you wish you could give 0 stars. Talked with 6 different people and got 8 different answers. If they have a corporate officers for customer service and information/website, they should have been fired long ago. Voya demonstrates utter and complete incompetence. Sometimes I felt customer service was being obstructionist or had mental health issues. I saw that 4% of respondents to this website gave 4 and 5 stars. I have to believe these were corporate officers or their family. Automated phone system, customer service reps, and website are all terrible. I could go into specifics, but it would take too long. I really think the Feds should get involved. The sooner I get my money away from these scrubs and incomps the better.

They send automated emails that are incorrect. I got an email saying my rollover was in process and there was nothing more that I needed to do. This was totally incorrect and there was more they needed from me. Customer service is terrible, they don't care if all of these incorrect emails go out. Also, their fees are higher than other institutions.
