After years of practice I think Vonage have got it right on switching a user over too their telephone system. The new system based on the internet has been up and running with no complications or problems for the last few weeks. The bonus in all this is you get a competative price for a landline and that was the deal breaker.

I had some issues with my Bank account and was having a problem with my automatic payment to Vonage for their services I've had for years a U.S. Telephone number that I use with the Box Vonage sent me before I departed the U.S. I am a U.S. Veteran who often travels abroad and needs contact with my V.A. Drs and Business and of course Family as well. Vonage was accomodating to the Highest degree and told me not to worry they wouldn't disconnect me and gave me a month to straighten it out and I had it done in less. I appreciate Vonage and their People and Customer Service. I'm a customer for life. Thank You Vonage. I'd give you 10 Stars if I could. **********

Vonage services and features allow you to fully manage your home telephone. The ability to prevent non-identified callers is a real plus. Although not prevented from robo callers, the fact your telephone number is unpublished helps to eliminate most annoying cold calls. I use the APP extension to block any callers who do get through and I wish to block. While in France, 3 years ago I was able to make calls to Canada at no additional charges. The features are far superior to alternatives.

I have been using Vonage for about 20 years, maybe a little less. As long as I have an internet connection it functions very well. Recently I had a problem, contacted Vonage and the problem was solved immediately. I believe that it was the first time I had to contact Vonage in all of this time. It's a bit expensive but when you consider what it does, it's a bargain.

The only thing that went right in this transaction was that they delivered their equipment (a Vonage Box that connects my home phones to the internet) on time. The Vonage Box worked, but their website and the process of porting our existing number was anything but pleasant. When I went to check on the status of having our number ported, the site clearly said that information was needed, so I clicked on the link provided to update my information, answer whatever questions, and when I did so the page would not load. So I tried to access help via chat and the site said I had attempted to access chat too many times. So I called and spoke to an ESL support rep (I believe they all may be as I spoke to 3 in the past week and none sounded like they were from around here), who hung up on me when I explained to him why I was calling. Honestly, when people are new customers, they need help getting settled in. While the equipment came timely and worked with a reasonably simple install, the staff was not at all helpful in answering my questions or addressing my concerns. Certainly HANGING UP ON THE CUSTOMER is a solid indicator that the department is not focused on "Customer Service", they're more of the mindset "Customers Serve Us".

I want to talk with sister in Slovenia. The answer is that the phone # is invalid. This started in April. I phone to Vonage many many times. I had to wait long time usually about a week that they "repair". It work few day - last time two days - and again does not work. I can not get the connection. Today I phoned again, the service said that on Saturday and Sunday they do not work and they will repair in two days. I was promised this many many times, but in three months I am at the same problem. But the bill is not missing!!! Please tell me if you can provide the service, or I have to look for service at other place!

I have been a Vonage customer for over a dozen years and recently my box stopped working so I contacted them and was told I would have to pay a shipping fee of just under ten dollars so I told the support person that I have never had to pay a shipping fee in the past so he checked into it and was able to remove the shipping fee. Count me 100% satisfied!!!
