Avoid these scammers. This is the type of rental agency that “finds” damage and then charges an exorbitant fee. Charged us over 100 for a 1 inch scratch to a plastic hub cap. Money grab.

Avoid this car rental agency at all cost! The vehicle had a failing transmission which lost power on uphill climbs and stalled on us several times including once on the busy motorway. A total red flag was probably getting the vehicle with an empty tank gas tank which they reassured us was the way it is done (total lie). Horrible vehicle that had ripped, stained, soiled interiors. Do yourself a favour and avoid giving this company any of your money.

je mets une étoile parce que je ne peux pas en mettre zéro ! comme les autres, je maintiens : cette boîte est une grosse arnaque à touristes ! ils nous ont également refusé une carte visa premier française au motif qu'il y avait la mention debit et non credit....on a donc payé via Lastminute une location de voiture pour une semaine + 7 euros par jour d'assurance p et Rien ! ils nous ont laissé au bord de la route à 20h30 sans voiture, sans même nous appeler un taxi, comme des chiens ! et ils se foutaient de nous ...Lastminute, le vendeur est également pareil: ils ne veulent rien savoir et sont donc complices de cette grosse escroquerie !

Avoid Volta4u!!! You have so many car rental agencies available in Athens. I would recommend avoiding this one. I would highly recommend an agency at the airport and avoid Volta! Our car had a dent and many scratches on it. I started it up and the engine light was on. So I asked for replacement car and eventually the manager came out and told me that I am lucky that I am able to get this car. I should cancel my reservation. I paid through Booking.com so it’s almost impossible to get your money back after you pre-pay. I don’t have huge expectations for customer service but he made it clear that He was the customer and we were lucky to have his vehicle. We bought the extra insurance through Booking.com, but we were still required to have a hold of $1800. I can only remember car rental holds of $1000 or less. I made a huge mistake by choosing this rental car company. We had rented cars from Mykonos, Santorini, Athens, and Crete with no problems with Avis and Hertz car rental companies. This was a last-minute reservation as we were not planning on renting the car in the last day of vacation. This agency is not at the airport and you have to shuttle pick up is at the shuttle bus location, which is fine but the drop off is at the same arrival shuttle area, which makes it a little difficult to get to departures
