With the introduction of OTC hearing aids, the experience of restoring one's hearing has become an unpleasant experience. Audiologist are up selling useless features and on-line sellers are often misrepresenting their product's capabilities. I took a chance and purchased a set of Vivtone Xpure hearing aids and I am amazed at their ease of set up and control via my smartphone and I am blown away by their performance compared to my original $4,000 prescription hearing aids. And, I must add that their customer service is outstanding. They responded in less than 24 hours with an accurate assessment of my problem and offered a simple fix (replacement of wax guard with the tool provided with the hearing aids) and thoughtfully followed up with me to make sure that the problem was solved.
