Vitamix VM0200/E320 after some years
In the summer of 2019, I paid $350 u$d for a VM0200 (mexican model I think) in Costco Mexico. The comparable model is the E320. It has been used about 250 times per year making fresh fruit smoothies, creaming coffee with almond flour, and preparing thick hummus. It has been nosily, and powerfully mixing for six years now. BUT, within two years, I discovered the 64 oz. polycarbonate jar was wearing away where the blades throw things against the sides. I hope eating polycarbonate is not a health concern. AND the other thing I despise, is that after two years, the black ‘silicon’ handle on the jug began decomposing, or otherwise developed a sticky surface that cannot be washed off. I have to wash my hands after picking up the jar by the handle.
