This is the worst company for ordering vital records. You would be better off finding the original agency who issues the record and going through them directly. It will save you time, money, and aggravation. It will take you the same amount of time or less in the long run. I have had several orders erroneously cancelled with no reason given and without any notification provided. They are quick to take your money but their lack of communication is horrible. I placed an order a month ago and sent in all the required documentation and the order was approved right up until the last day I was supposed to receive the document. I checked the order status for the last 30 days it and it showed that the order was processing but today I check and it shows that the order was cancelled and refunded the fee that I paid with no explanation.

Absolute horrible company. $50.00 paid , with a promise of 20-25 business days to receive the item. We are on business day 50 with no movement and they refuse to cancel the order.

Up front the bad, a little pricey, but saves a lot of time and frustration. We needed our birth certificates and marriage license for "Real ID"s. Now the great, quick and easy. They made the calls and verifications needed by 3 different state government offices. Start to finish less than 30 days. Customer service was very courteous and helpful I would highly recommend VitalChek

NYS outsource site that takes 45 days to get a copy. Not clear on delivery times with fees that are high for ordering online compared to others - not the site to use when you need something quick

I needed a certified birth certificate as I’m living abroad. Vitalchek needed a notarised form (costed an extra $172.50 nzd) then once form was submitted, they asked for even more information, which I couldn’t provide in time. Didn’t get the document before my deadline and extremely disappointed that there requirements weren’t disclosed when placing the order. Feels scammy.

Total scam, take your money and do not deliver. Had to do a chargeback when th my bank due to no customer support

My husband needed his birth certificate for state of Maryland. The service was incredibly slow and when it was received, his mother and father's names were misspelled. It was like someone just typed the names in without even checking the original record or comparing to make sure the information was presented correctly. This was a complete scam and everyone needs to know to NOT use this site, but to verify that they are going straight to the state's records.
