Valvoline Instant Oil ChangeReviews of vioc.com

The valvoline on 350 hwy Raytown was very polite courteous fast knowledgeable and well trained with their service. There was a shop manager that was highly skilled and guided the staff in everything that was done to your vehicle. My comfort level went from 65% now to 92%. I will definitely return to this valvoline with out hesitation.

Today 3-30-24 I went to a Valvoline point on Tamiami trail east in Naples FL for a oil change and besides it was pretty expensive, they found that my cabin air filter needed to be replaced. I accepted to have it replaced but I didn't receive any receipt there and when I ask for it they said it will appear on my e-mail. I arrived at home and was surprised by the amount not expecting to pay $152 which $60 was for the cabin air filter that the store next door sell them for $11 and anywhere else was sold at no more then $12. This is a rip off. I would never use their service again.

Valvoline Transmission Service Review: Buyer Beware! 🌟 I recently visited the Valvoline service center in Lombard for a transmission fluid change on my Acura. What should have been a routine maintenance task turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. The Incident: After leaving the service center, I noticed a significant amount of transmission fluid had leaked onto my garage floor. Concerned, I checked the fluid level using the indicator stick, and to my surprise, it still showed as “full.” How could this be when there were clearly 2 to 3 quarts missing? The Receipt: Upon reviewing the receipt, I discovered that the technician had poured in a whopping 10 quarts of transmission fluid! Keep in mind that Acura’s official requirement is a mere 3 quarts. It felt like they were trying to drown my poor Acura! The Conversation: I called Valvoline to express my concern. Instead of accountability, I got a runaround. The technician nonchalantly claimed that my fluid level was “fine.” Fine? Really? I asked him where the mysterious 3 quarts in my garage came from, and his brilliant response was, “I don’t know.” Not exactly reassuring. The Verdict: Folks, save yourself the headache. Spend the extra bucks and head to the dealer. At least there, you’ll find some semblance of accountability. Valvoline? Well, they seem to operate in a parallel universe where fluid levels defy physics.

Tech used a machine to "suck"the oil out of my engine. When I asked why he said Nissan recommends this way of removing old oil. That's a lie. When the reminder sticker was printed it showed 3 months / 3000 miles. Owners manual shows 6 months or 5000 miles. Requested a corrected sticker but was told the computer prints the sticker and they have no control over it. Fishy at best - probably BS.

Went to Valvoline on broadway in San Antonio Texas. I had been going there for almost 10 years or more I usually ask for a discount and get $10 off or $5. This time the guy that charge me for the service said he didn’t have anything and did not even look to see if he could offer me a discount. He looks young which shows me that he has no customer service skill and he was very arrogant. Don’t put this young ones in charge they do not know anything about customer service. If you go he is the one that has a neck full of tattoos. He did not want to put the sticker on the windshield he was giving it to me to put it. Which they always do it. I told him put it on I am paying for this service since you can not give me a discount finish doing your job. He did place it but place it on top of another sticker I had on the windshield. You can tell he does not like his job!

Had to find a new place to get oil change and inspection due to sale of company after 23 years of excellent service to me. Came to your chain. Big mistake. Assistant manager pushing my truck back and forth moving the tires trying to lift it to inspect it. Start the truck to leave and the ABS light is on. She says I did nothing. I call a mechanic friend and he is asking her questions. She is denying everything. Says we can get it looked at and bring the bill and they will determine if it is their fault. We leave and go right back. My friend asked her if the ignition was on when they were moving the truck. She said no. We confronted her asked how she was moving the truck if the ignition was not on. You cannot put a vehicle in neutral without the ignition on. Now her story changes. Cannot recall. Told her what she told us. You have cameras don't you? I think she saw the light on and hoped we would not see it. She got caught and lied. My friend said what she did could cause the ABS light to come on. Now I have to lose more time from work and have my truck checked for a problem I did not have until your employee touched my truck. The light was off when I got there and should be off when I left. When I said that and that I would never f'ing come back and make sure every person I know will never come there she said that is up to me. I did nothing wrong. Of course that was before we went back and she got caught in her lie. I expect your company to make this right but she gave me very little confidence that you would. There are other avenues to go with complaints. I am doing so. Word of mouth can ruin a company. 62 and have never had an oil change and inspection to cost me lost wages and my time. That is not to mention how much to get the truck fixed. I understand mistakes but not lies. Never will be back and will tell everyone the story. Maybe even News 2 who hopes people get things fixed.

Best oil change experience yet! Yeah they're always going to try to upsell you on stuff you don't want or need, but that's a given at this point. The staff member was very friendly and we joked around the whole time, even added my military discount! Thank you to Jake in Indianapolois, will be coming back.
