I've used VetRxDirect for four months now and am very happy with them, I find them to be a trustworthy company. I order supplies online so that I may give my cat a daily subcutaneous IV drip (macro), and VetRxDirect quickly emails me an invoice with all the pertinent details. My credit card is always properly charged. I receive tracking information from FedEx so that I know the delivery date. And I receive high-quality products at a lower cost that at my veterinarian sells. I called the VetRxDirect customer service the first time that I signed up, and they provided me useful, friendly advice. They did all the work of contacting the veterinarian to verify the prescription once I provided them contact information (which presumably enables all my future orders), All things considered, what more could a customer want? I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.To avoid running out of supplies, allow ample time for re-orders. It typically takes 7-10 days between placing the order and when I actually receive it when their free-shipping option is selected (Coralville, Iowa to Los Angeles suburbs). Expedited delivery for a fee is available.

I have been ordering medications for my dog who suffers from Cushing's as well as routine meds. I find VetRX simple to use, very attentive with customer service and a place that offers many choices for one-stop shopping in a variety of areas. The prices are great, too. I really love the sample treats and the personalized "Thank You" note in each box. I thank you and my three dogs thank you, too.

Our Old English Mastiff has two strains of MRSA we've been battling for over a year. All her medications were available on VetRx which could *not* all be found on either Foster-Smith or PetMeds. I'd previously contacted my vet, who was just waiting for the call from VetRx. (Switching to VetRx saved us $32 a tube of one, and $26 on another, amounting to a savings of nearly $300 a month!) We paid for 2-day shipping. On their site, the company says that orders are usually processed within a couple days. I placed the order well in time so that we would not run out. Our vet faxed the prescriptions that night, and within 2 days, was told the order had been sent to shipping. All in all, it took ten days for "shipping" to even mail out the package. Holiday business was not a factor, since the order was placed well before Thanksgiving. I can't beat the prices here, but I wish they'd either be more upfront about the true length of time expected (we are talking medications here for many, if not most of their orders) or have at least notified me of a reason for the delay. We unfortunately had a two-day gap that was extremely inconvenient for us, and didn't make our puppus feel so great either. All in all, ordering's a breeze and pricing's good, so I'll keep coming back. I'll just try to allow a couple weeks lag time instead. But if anyone from VetRx reads this, please straighten out this bobble in your packing/shipping line.
