YEA! NEW OLD DOG!
Kali is an 11 years old Rottweiler mix who, from age 2, has had problems with her hips! We've been dealing with this for 9 years now. For most of those years, she has been on conventional anti-inflammatory meds (Novox and Rimadyl) with occasional steroids thrown into the mix. Of course, I've also been giving her good food (I know that's open to interpretation), various herbs, MSM/glucosamine and omegas 3, 6 and 9! She looked good! However, she continued to have difficulty getting up, walking and particularly running even though the anti-inflammatory meds did help. Unfortunately, over the past several months she has been getting weaker and weaker. She was in obvious pain when she tried to stand up. She had the hardest time ever just getting up to go eat or drink! Not too long ago I had my own troubles with NSAIDs (anti-inflammatory meds) that were the suspected cause of my perforated colon! Increasing Kali's meds were out of the question. My search for another way to handle Kali's joint problem landed me at the VETiONIX.com website and I decided to try Arthro-IonX - what did I have to lose? A few weeks after starting her on the suggested regimen Kali is like a NEW old dog! No kidding! She is getting up and down with ease now and trots around the yard like she used to do when she was 2 years old!
