It works but.....
First thing I did when I got the Vetionx in, was reading the active ingredients and the dosage, which frankly scared the ______ out of me! I did not want to give any of that to my dog. I did a lot of research on all the compounds (which by the way are deadly poisons and carcinogens.. Radium, Oleander, and heavy metals) .I found that they are used in very small doses to treat just what it says it's meant to treat. I decided to try it, and it does work. I sure wouldn't put my dog on it long term. I do think this stuff will cause deadly side affects if used long term.

Hi Leonard~ Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We apologize for the lengthy response, however, we want to be able to present the facts to you, and to help you understand Homeopathic medicine and how the ingredients are used. It's true that some of our ingredients look like 'chemicals.' Some of our ingredients are chemical compounds, but those occur in nature in just about every case. Unrefined sea salt contains sodium chloride (Natrum muriaticum), potassium chloride (Kali muriaticum), magnesium chloride (Magnesia muriaticum), and calcium sulfate (Calcarea sulphurica), as well as a host of other naturally occurring compounds. One would have to ask if a compound isolated from a naturally occurring substance is a chemical? Our body runs on glucose (which it synthesizes from various foods we eat) and utilizes a synthesized chemical, adeninosine triphosphate to oxidize it. Potassium sorbate (our preservative agent) occurs naturally in many plants and berries, but is so cost prohibitive to extract, that we've learned to synthesize it inexpensively. We are not sure exactly what you looked up in regards to the ingredients in our product, but my guess is that it was not homeopathic Materia Medica, rather an herbal medicine guide, which will lead to the conclusions you stated. Differences between homeopathic OTC products and other refined pharmaceutical drugs are apparent in the dosing. Traditional pharmaceuticals prescribe doses to elicit a chemical reaction in the body... in this case blocking some pain receptor site. Dosing is based on how much chemical needs to be reacted in the body to relieve the skin irritation. Homeopathic products do not produce a chemical reaction, as the total amount of ingredient is nearly undetectable. Instead, these products are theorized to provide a signal from which the body itself works to relieve whatever condition you are treating. Dosing and ingredient selection are based on symptoms. Due to the miniscule amount of product in the dose, there is virtually no chance of an overdose unless bottles and bottles of product were consumed at once, and nor is there any dangerous effects with the ingredients in our products. The IONX homeopathic preparations are in the 10X, 20X, 30X potencies. In homeopathy a 10X potency is one in which the tincture has been diluted 1 to 9 parts, and then one part of that mixture is diluted again 1 to 9, and so on until this is done 10 times. The energy signature of the original substance is carried in the liquid but very few molecules of the original substance remains in the liquid and by the time you get to a 24X dilution there are no more molecules of the tincture left, just the energy instruction. With each dilution the activity becomes more focused somewhat like a laser compared to a flashlight. 10X,20X,30X are considered low to moderate potencies. The different potencies act slightly differently in the body so it is common for preparations to contain several. The remedies were chosen based upon their ability to modify the symptoms and stimulate internal modifications that lead to healing. Having it in homeopathic form makes it safer than most prescription drugs that need to be under the supervision of a doctor. Though homeopathy isn't used as much in the United States, over half of veterinarians in Europe use homeopathy alongside conventional therapy. It can offer some help in cases where more options are needed. For more information about the individual ingredients and the history of homeopathy, the website www.nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org is a great educational tool. Because homeopathy is patient specific one must match the symptoms of the patient to the remedy. The remedies selected in our product address the more common symptoms. Because these are OTC ingredients and not prescription items there is no requirement for years of drug trials. That explains why most prescription drugs are much more costly than OTC products that are formulated based upon common knowledge garnered over the past two hundred years. We use this information to select the ingredients and rely on our customer feedback to let us know if we are doing a good job and meeting their needs. The IONX products have helped many pets reduce their symptoms without causing toxicity to their bodies. For pet health questions we offer an "Ask our Vet" option available through our website at: www.vetionx.com/ask-our-vet-form.phpHere you can post questions directly to a licensed Veterinarian - free of charge. Dr. Char will respond between 24 and 48 hours to any pet health questions or concerns you might have. With best wishes The Vetionx Team
