My Bella girl
My husband and I rescued Bella 3 years ago. She was heart worm positive and in terrible condition. She went through the heart worm treatment and then we found she had NO thyroid function. She is on 4 pills per day for her thyroid and still didn't seem to have much pep in her step so we took her to many doctors to find she had adrenal gland cancer and it could only be treated by having the adrenal removed. She had that done in August of last year and she seemed to be doing pretty good. Then in April of this year she started with pacing, panting, getting stuck in corners and standing close to walls and just staring with a blank stare. It is hard for me to except she has been through so much and is now in the best physical shape she has been in since we rescued her and she seems to be losing her mind ~ not fair!! So 3 weeks ago our vet told us to try the Senilife pills but give it a few weeks to kick in. We can honestly say we have seen considerable improvement in Bella. She doesn't pace anymore, if she finds herself in a corner she pivots her body to turn around and walk out of the corner, she is eating good and seems more alert and engaged. Fingers crossed it will continue to work!
