To Whom It May Concern,
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my serious concerns about a recent and unacceptable experience at your Victra location involving the store manager, RJ, and one of his employees. During a store visit, my wife was pressured by an employee into purchasing items on my account—items I had not approved, authorized, or requested. These charges were made under misleading pretenses and without my direct consent. This kind of upselling — especially to someone not listed as the primary account holder — is deceptive and completely unacceptable. She was made account holder the day of the upsell behind my back. When I raised this issue with RJ, the store manager, he offered to apply credits to my account in exchange for me removing my negative review. He stated that if the review remained, his employee would be fired and he would no longer be the manager. This kind of offer is inappropriate and unprofessional. Rather than focusing on resolving the issue with honesty and accountability, RJ tried to negotiate silence. That is a serious red flag regarding his leadership and ethical standards. After considering the situation fully, I believe that RJ should no longer be in a management role, and that the conduct of both he and his staff warrants a full internal review. I expect the following: An investigation into this incident Reversal of all unauthorized charges Accountability for the employee’s and manager’s conduct Confirmation that corrective action has been taken If not resolved appropriately, I will escalate this to Verizon corporate and relevant consumer protection agencies. Sincerely, Jesus Oranuena 626.771.5348
