I have now placed 2 new service orders w/ Verizon and each time they have been canceled with no reason given. The sad part is the building we are moving into has Verizon Fios Residential account in place and installed. So instead of me just taking over the service installed, they insist the previous account has to be canceled, all equipment turned in, a new service added and new equipment hooked up. However, they can't seem to be able to handle this simple task and their offshore support is the worst I have experienced by far.

My entire experience with this place (Franklin, TN) felt like a scam. My wife and I decided to move our numbers to Verizon 2 months ago, and we got new devices, which were supposed to be for free (other than the sales tax or whatever) with a 3-years contract. One of the things that bothered me the most was all the unmentioned changes. In my opinion, service providers should be more transparent about these charges before heading to the cashier's desk. Anyway, I ended up paying $437.24 in store, and then another $466.73 as an initial payment, which was also never mentioned. and my monthly bill was way higher than what I was told. They said it was because the promo code was missing. Later on, after going to the store a couple of times, resubmitting tickets to correct the monthly bill, one of the clerks noticed that I was overcharged for the service as well. I was charged for 2 temp numbers that are used before porting our numbers. $84.70 was deducted from the next bill. I had to call Verizon and fix their mistake by myself because the clerk wouldn't bother to fix their own mistake. In addition to all these, I had to pay $22.36 for one of the devices for 36 months (totals $737.88), and after 2 months of back and forth, now it's reduced to $5.14 (I guess it's the sales tax, but the other device is only $0.28/mo for some reason). At this point; • I had to pay unmentioned charges, • I was charged for temp numbers that I don't own (fixed by myself), • I had to pay monthly for one of the devices and am still paying a smaller amount (partially fixed to an acceptable amount), and • I still pay about $30 more for my unlimited plan than what I was told. My sales clerk gave me his private number to help me out, so that I wouldn't keep coming to the store. and I thought that was big help, but these 4 things combined somewhat suggest otherwise. I've been to the Verizon store 7 times and texted the guy for 2 months to fix these errors, I mean how difficult can it be for a Verizon store to fix accounting errors. I was stalled each time I texted, asked to wait. When I first moved to Verizon, he said "the numbers might bounce back and forth for about 2 weeks until the promo code finally sets in". But the numbers never bounced. After that, the answers were very similar every time I texted. "I submitted a ticket, or I did this and that, it should take X days to reflect in your account", X being 1 to 7 days. This went on for 2 months! Then I started receiving answers slower to never. I really find it hard to believe that this cannot be sorted out by a Verizon store. I was either lied to in the beginning or they did not hard enough. I was going to return all the devices and ask for refund, but we decided to forget about it and move on, because it doesn't really hurt my income. But that doesn't mean I'll keep quiet about it. Trustpilot is next, and then maybe twitter or reddit or whatever if I get time. My recommendation to everyone who's having a similar experience is to simply return everything and get your money back before they stall you until too late. it won't be fixed!

DONT DO IT! DONT MAKE THE SWITCH!! You will regret it. Don't switch to this company and going to this store is pointless. I had to wait over 20 minutes for a receipt. After having another nightmare experience with customer care the night prior. While waiting for management to get thier act together and print a receipt for me which they ended up not being able to do, I talked with another couple that had been waiting over 45 minutes just to get a copy of thier final bill. There is no apologies from this company. Just excuses. Don't do it! Don't make the switch!

Just tried to sign up for service thru the affordable connectivity program with Verizon. Was transferred twice in chat only to have my conversation disconnected by the last agent named Chris. Look Verizon, if you didn't want new customers thru the government provided program then you shouldn't have taken the money. Your job is to serve EVERYONE NO MATTER WHAT! You claim to be better than the rest but your snooty attitude shows different!

I have been with Verizon for about a year. Their phone service is bad, their customer service is HORRIBLE, and they are overpriced. DO NOT choose Verizon as your mobile phone service provider.

My daughter lost her phone in an accident last year and when she reported it lost to Verizon they informed her that they couldn’t replace it because it was not insured so they offered a promotion on a new phone with a plan that would remove the service fees on her lost phone so she would only be responsible for the payment of the physical phone. I gave her authorization to manage our phone service at this time. She made payments over the year and got behind a few times so setup up payment arrangements . We had our phones disconnected twice WITHOUT WARNING because the reps did NOT notate it. They’ve added disconnect fees for THIER MISTAKE and refuse to remove/refund. Turns our the promotion was a lie and never attached to our account so we’ve been paying for service and taxes on a phone that remains buried in the desert. Our bills since being late in March 2023, which was paid in April, have ranged from $640-$869 MONTHLY. The past due amount was paid but rolls into each month with “added” charges and NO explanation. Verizon’s $100 million lawsuit specified Deceptive Charges, one in particular being the “Admin & Telco Recovery Charge” of which I specifically asked the Representative “Nick” at corporate in Encinitas, California yesterday and he simply said it’s an admin fee. The only assistance that Nick and his so-called assistant manager offered was to call billing and see what resolution they could off. The connected me with “BILLING” which turned out to be a specialist in SALES who confirmed that the Promotion offered last year did not apply to our account because it wasn’t even being offered (in existence) yet!! Nick said it wasn’t applied because it Expired!! What’s true? Verizon is full of Scheisters they train every employee how to speak in circles. I was on the phone with a representative night before last who kept spinning in circles without ever justifying our exorbitant phone bills no matter how much we paid. BILLING DEPARTMENT (SALES) merely offered a new promotion that would raise our current plan fees! What the fck right now!!!??!?!?!?

I have been a Verizon customer since 2015 and I am appalled about their service. My phone was stolen and I tried to recover my information with my new phone and discovered they don't support Samsung Contacts. No one at the Altamonte Springs store ever disclosed this and I trusted when they set up my back ups that I was covered. I was not. I have lost over 10 years of contacts and have spent 5 hours ping ponging between Verizon and Samsung to get help and each gives me excuses. This company is too expensive and does not deliver on customer service. I'm finding a new service and will never be back and going to an Apple phone. From trying to get access to a real person and dealing with a knowledgeable sales person...epic fail.
