Would give zero stars if possible. Attempted to start service for my business and the set up process was so awful and time consuming that I took it as a sign of service to come and I cancelled immediately. I was given a cancellation confirmation number followed by receipt of phones 5 days later and a bill notification.
So happy to waste more valuable time with this, I attempted to call them and after multiple roundabouts with a phone robot was advised they were unable to connect me with a live rep or offer any assistance because I didn't have an active account (said the one on my bill was not valid) or phone number with them. Attempted online chat for live assistance and same issue. SO - in my car I go to a live location to waste more valuable time and gas as well. Do yourself a favor and run to a place that actually provides service.

First Responder Line Broken 6+ Months – Lied to, Hung Up On, and Ignored
My husband, a law enforcement officer, has had a broken Verizon line for over 6 months. He can’t call hospitals or emergency lines — and Verizon doesn’t care.
We’ve called 50+ times. We were promised credits, fixes, and callbacks that never happened. Today, he spent 3 hours on the phone. One supervisor laughed at him, admitted it was a “marketing ploy” to keep him on hold, and hung up. I called after work and was also disconnected twice. The final supervisor confirmed that we were promised a credit, but wouldn’t honor it because the representative “didn’t enter an amount.”
We’ve had losses in the family, tried to disconnect lines, and Verizon keeps promising refunds and never follows through.
After 18 years as a loyal customer, I’m done. Verizon has no respect for veterans, police, or families in crisis. It’s sickening.

Formal Complaint Against Verizon Wireless – Failure to Fulfill Order, Inaccessible Customer Support, and Repeated Service FailuresFormal Complaint Against Verizon…
Formal Complaint Against Verizon Wireless – Failure to Fulfill Order, Inaccessible Customer Support, and Repeated Service Failures To Whom It May Concern,
I am submitting this complaint regarding Verizon Wireless due to a persistent and unresolved issue related to an order I placed for a prepaid mobile hotspot (Jetpack device), along with serious failures in customer service and support accessibility.
On July 17th, 2025, I placed a phone order with Verizon for a Jetpack device and prepaid service. I confirmed my full shipping address multiple times during the call with their representative. However, I later received an email indicating that the address was incomplete. As a result, the order was flagged and appears to have never been properly shipped—despite my immediate and repeated efforts to resolve the issue.
Here is a detailed outline of the obstacles I have faced in attempting to resolve this matter:
1. Incomplete Order Fulfillment
Despite verbal confirmation of my full address with the Verizon agent, I received a notice indicating only a partial address was recorded.
The tracking portal shows no delivery or correction, and the order status has not updated meaningfully since.
2. Repeated Disconnections and Broken Promises from Support
I called Verizon support at least 4–5 times, only to be disconnected mid-call.
On my most recent call, a representative acknowledged the issue, assured me it would be corrected with the help of a supervisor, and promised a callback if disconnected. That callback never came.
On subsequent attempts, I was immediately routed out of the system after ID verification, with an automated voice saying, “Thank you for calling Verizon, goodbye.”
3. Online Chat and Account Access Barriers
I attempted to resolve the issue via online chat, but was prompted to create an account, which I did.
After entering all required information (email, password, ZIP, etc.), I was told my data “did not match our records.”
Despite providing my order number and lockdown reference number, I could not reach a human agent or progress any further through chat.
4. Total Lack of Accountability or Contact
Verizon has provided no accessible way to speak with a representative, no follow-up, and no resolution to date.
I have exhausted every communication method offered and am now completely locked out of the support system despite already paying for the product and service.
Consumer Impact:
This level of inaccessibility and lack of accountability is unacceptable—especially for a utility-grade service essential for secure online access in rural areas. I rely on mobile internet for basic banking, telehealth, online payments, and communication. Verizon’s failures have left me without service, out-of-pocket for a product I have not received, and with no support recourse.
I am requesting that Verizon Wireless be required to:
1. Correct the shipping error and complete delivery of my paid order.
2. Improve transparency and access to customer support services.
3. Issue a refund or provide timely fulfillment if resolution is not possible.
Order Information:
Order Number: XXXXXX
Lockdown/Location Code: XXXXX
Correct Shipping Address:
XXXXXX
Contact Phone: XXXXX
Please confirm receipt of this complaint and let me know how it will be processed. I am available for additional documentation or verification as needed.
Sincerely,
BC

Bad signal in most places. Don’t recommend it for Uber and Lyft drivers. Because If you drive in outskirts areas you would have trouble with signal.

Avoid Verizon at all cost
Verizon sent a $106.44 WITH INTEREST charge to collections from an old account I could no longer access. Originally, I had Account A, but after upgrading my Fios service, Verizon closed that account and created a new one (Account B). From that point on, whenever I logged in, I was only shown Account B—my new, active account—with a $0 balance. The old account was essentially hidden. I received no clear notice that Account A had a balance, nor any way to view or manage it through my login.
I contacted Verizon support multiple times before the collections hit, and each time they told me my account was in good standing. Not one representative ever mentioned the existence of Account A, even when I directly asked if there could be any other accounts tied to me. I only found out after a collection item appeared on my credit report. I then contacted the collections agency and learned the $106.44 charge came from the old, hidden account. I paid it in full to avoid hurting credit score.
After that, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). A Verizon rep reached out, but did absolutely nothing. I emailed to explain that the credit bureau had investigated and told me Verizon confirmed the debt, but didn’t address any of my concerns about system failure or lack of access. The rep didn’t respond to my email—just called days later to say, “If that’s what the credit bureau said, then that’s it,” and asked to close the BBB case. No accountability, no explanation, no help.
Verizon keeps repeating that their records show the charge was valid—but that’s not the point. The issue is that I couldn’t see or pay that charge because Verizon erased my access when they opened the new account. Their system gave me no visibility into Account A, and their support gave me no answers when I tried to ask.
This isn’t just a billing issue—it’s a customer service and systems failure. Verizon's inaction, misleading account management, and refusal to take responsibility caused real damage to my credit for a charge I had no fair chance to resolve
