Over the last few months, I have been able to re-learn how to speak Thai working with my wonderful tutor via Skype. The application is very easy to use and the price is very good. I cannot say enough good things about Verbalplanet.

VerbalPlanet has completely changed my view on taking language courses. I always hated classrooms full of people where you were forced to go at someone else’s rhythm for up to three hours in a row. VerbalPlanet allows me to customize my lessons at my own rythm and in what I’ve found to be the ideal time frame for a language lesson: 45 minutes. It’s enough to keep you motivated but not to burn you out or bore you. I have made great improvements in my Dutch because of VerbalPlanet and plan on using it until I’m as fluent in Dutch as the King of the Netherlands.

Overall, I like the service. Payments pretty are easy. Platform supports paypal and card payments. There are reminders for the lessons. I only struggle while booking lessons. Calendar for booking lessons is very hard to use. It always starts from today's day of week, not from Monday or Sunday. It is also impossible to navigate to another month quickly.

website issue - still remains and there seems no intention to fix it As a verbal planet tutor, I have contacted twice as for the technical trouble of the website. Teachers list is not accurately shown - some teachers are missed out from the teacher list while some others are listed twice, also, the ranking was supposed to be shown based on the last lesson day and time but this rule was not correctly applied. It is not fair for tutors to be hidden from the list - students cannot see the teachers and therefore the teachers miss the opportunities of gaining new students and lesson reservations! Tutors contribute booking fees each time when they offer a lesson through this website and the company must have enough budget to hire IT staff to fix this issue instantly and easily. Even after two messages, the problem still remains or coming back, and there was no comment from the company that they are going to fix the issue. It is a huge disappointment this issue still remains (and IT staff cannot spot the issue) because without this trouble, I would rate this company with five starts.
