I am a teacher on Verbalplanet and had some problems with not being paid for lessons. I had some lessons, but the students did not transfer the fee for them. After explaining the issue to the Verbalplanet team and offering documents to confirm that, the Verbalplanet paid the whole ammount. I can say that it is a reliable platform and I would highly recommend it to teachers who want to share their knowledge of a language with students all over the world and to students who want to enjoy learning a language online.

I love Verbalplanet for what it offers! The platform itself can be difficult to use sometimes (I had a lot of trouble trying to find resources my teacher uploaded, and also to change a future lesson date once), but the quality of teachers and general premise is fantastic! I am learning very quickly with the 1:1 attention of Skype lessons and the booking schedule shows my local timezone so I don't have to calculate it.
