I can't recommend Verbalplanet -- and my teacher specifically -- highly enough. Language is meant to be spoken and you can only learn so much from a book, language apps, etc. Live instruction is the only way to prepare for the give and take of actual conversations -- especially if you plan to use your new language when you travel! Verbalplanet provides a user-friendly platform, and you book your lessons in your own time zone, so there's no confusion about when your lesson will be. Reasonable prices, too! Grazie mille, Verbalplanet!

Such a helpful site that put’s you in touch with a varying range of tutors. Was very much struggling to find a tutor in what’s a pretty niche language until I came across Verbal Planet. Would highly suggest!
