I recently used VelvetJobs to assist me with my resume after being affected by a company wide layoff. I made use of this wonderful service provided by the former employer so I do not have to tackle this on my own. I was thoroughly impressed with the results. The process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Amanda took the time to understand my career goals and past experiences, and the final product was polished, keyword-optimized, and tailored to the roles I'm targeting. Amanda walked me through updating my profile on the employment search engines and I’ve noticed a significant increase in traffic from recruiters and hiring managers reviewing my resume. I’d highly recommend VelvetJobs to anyone whose company offers this service after being affected by a lay off. I'd also encourage more companies to offer this service to their employees should the company decide to lay them off, give them that last help to make an impact in today’s competitive job market.

The services I received have been professional, timely and optimistic in the trying times of being laid off.
