My husband and I decided to jump on Vamoose for a quick trip out of the hustle and bustle of NYC to visit family in Maryland. The service was great! The bus was fairly clean. However, the windows were a bit dirty with gunks of head oil or grease spots. No biggie (just a bit squeamish); I just used hand sanitizer and a napkin to clean it up. From the moment we got on the bus, this young lady blasted her music interrupting everyone around her. But then again this is not A-Star transportation, so you have to expect inconsiderate people to be aboard with you. No biggie, My husband and I just turned the negative into a positive, and sang along with her cool 80's hits and others joined in. Again, expect somewhat of a community for the short trip. Tips for inconsiderate passengers, please mind your neighbors, and angry passengers, don't sweat the little stuff. Otherwise, it's going to be a loooooong and miiiiiiserable ride. Embrace the moment and make light of the situation as many of us did (perhaps we were lucky to have such enjoyable neighbors), or (if you're not as lucky and it's really terrible) kindly ask the disruptive passenger to adjust their volume or tune down the chatting on the phone, and you know what?! Most people respond back with kind gestures as this young lady did. She just wasn't aware her music was that loud. She apologized and turned down the volume, and the party was over for all of us who sang along. Anyway, the trip back to NYC was great. I really like the fact that each row had its own trash bag, because people can be a little inconsiderate, leaving their food, bottles, and chip bags on the bus as they exit. If there isn't a garbage bag in your row, there's usually a trash bag as you exit the bus. Each row has an outlet so you can charge your devices. Overall, our trip was enjoyable and very comfortable. The service was great, and the staff had smiles. This has been my third time traveling with Vamoose and each time I have had great experiences, even from time to time, a comedic driver. I would definitely recommend as an alternative way to travel.

I have taken the Vamoose bus service multiple times, and I would highly recommend it to people traveling between Manhattan and the greater Washington area. The bus drivers are friendly and prompt. The attendants are careful when packing the luggage on the bus and are always courteous. The chairs are comfortable and the bus is clean. They never overbook, so you are always guaranteed a seat. They have a wonderful rewards program, so that you can get a free trip ever so often, and save some money. I will definitely continue to use vamoose for my trips!

I enjoyed my ride to NY from Bethesda very much. The service persons were all helpful to guide us about lining up and the drivers were courteous. Vamoose bus service made my recent round trip to NY very pleasant and I will definitely use it again and introduce this bus line to my friends.

I am sorry to report that your gold bus I traveled on last Thursday, May 7th, had a terrible odor and inessential heat coming out of the toilet. Moreover, there was no railing in the bathroom and I bumped my head while using the facility. I am appalled by these conditions.

I gave Vamoose a shot because of the convenience of its pickup/dropoff locations for my trip from NYC to VA. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed and concerned by my experience. I took the last bus of the evening, 8:45 pm with an estimated 5-5.5 hours to my destination of Lorton, VA. Boarding the bus, I saw how legroom was nonexistent, but also outlets were in short supply, with only a few seats with access to an outlet. The truly upsetting piece was when we all had to disembark the bus at Bethesda and get into an Arlington-bound van at 12:45 in the morning. There was no mention of this on the itinerary or at any time during the journey. When the Lorton bound passengers asked where the van was headed and if we would still be taken to our destination past Arlington, we were told, "I don't know. But you have to get off the bus. Grab your stuff." Unbelievable and unsafe. The van driver gave us an incredibly bumpy ride from Bethesda to Arlington, and only upon reaching Arlington were we reassured that we would be taken to Lorton. I cannot believe the way this trip was handled. Vamoose was actually far more expensive than comparable bus services, and with this kind of sketchy handling of my itinerary, I'm better off using a bus that doesn't give me nasty surprises. Other bus lines have actual legroom, outlets at every seat, and they don't make you disembark randomly in the middle of the night. Choose one of them.

Vamoosebus crushes the competition time & time again! They are the most reliable bus company & they are never ever late to leave or arrive. The bus is clean, comfortable & the amenities well kept. The driver is sensitive to the passangers needs and will adjust the bus temperature if many passengers request it which is a major plus! The staff welcomes everyone onto the bus & thanks them for riding. Then the bus driver introduces themself & reminds the passangers to "sit back, relax & enjoy the ride"! All of the staff are kind, friendly & courteous. They care about YOU as a customer & it shows. I take the bus all the time to & from NYC to visit with family & friends & the staff remember me & always say how nice it is to see me again! Most recently while waiting in line for the bus home from NY the kind staffer who collects tickets even asked me where my Mom was as we always travel together!! I mean now that is incredible & so kind! When booking a bus to or from NYC always think Vamoosebus first!

I have chosen Vamoose Bus as my first preference / mode of transportation for my New York trips (no more plain or train rides). They have super great service... friendly staff, efficient and organize. Easy access to bus schedules and booking reservation online is a plus. Clean buses and I get the best pickup location...Rosslyn. Overnight parking is safe. I have recommended Vamoose to friends, family and work colleagues...they have tried it and completely satisfied with the service. Since then...they go Vamoose! Thank you and keep up the excellent job!
