I don’t know why I take this bus… The driver has stopped four times from New York to Bethesda on a day when there was absolutely no traffic. The delay is not worth it for the quality of service and the price per ticket. Better off driving to a train station and taking a more reliable train where the driver doesn’t stop whenever he feels like it an inconvenience is everybody on the bus

I rode from DC to NYC, everything about the trip was "fine" except for the driver, who from the get-go was over-sharing via the loudspeaker about things passengers do that annoy him, and all the things we should refrain from doing. Nothing too ridiculous, just a long list of nit-picking that you don't expect from someone whose job it is to drive a bus full of people. When we arrived to NYC, we were turning a corner in Harold Sq, and the driver nearly plowed through a cross-walk full of pedestrians (who had the right of way). The driver engaged in a "pissing contest" with a young pedestrian, who had taken the driver's aggressiveness as a challenge. The pedestrian angrily stood his ground in the cross-walk, and the driver antagonistically inched the bus closer and closer to the pedestrian, until the pedestrian, fearing for his safety, lashed out and punched the bus door, now less than 6 inches from where he stood. All while other pedestrians crossed behind him. The driver then got on the loud speaker to tell us about what he thought of the young man, as well as his thoughts on the youth of today, etc. and this annoyingly continued until we docked on the side of the road. The driver was clearly wrong, according to the law as well as to human decency. Again, Vamoose got me to NYC in reasonable time and in 1 piece and that's primarily what I care about. The experience wasn't great, but that's what you get for a $30 bus ticket.

3 pm bus from Bethesda to NYC was an hour late. Updates were confusing and driver tried to avoid traffic by taking many alternate routes. It was concerning at times as didn't know where we were. My trips are usually much smoother.

windows have not curtains and the time of the trip the sun was all over, my seats along with others more did not recline making the trip awful !!

On my last trip to VA from NYC both ways, the driver said absolutely nothing before the trips AND even though we (there were 3 of us on the trip) paid at least 40 dollars each way for a bus with WIFI, we couldn't find the electric socket to recharge our devices and the wifi code was not told to us. Highly disappointed!

People loading luggage and passengers were rude and surly, almost as if on a power-trip. An attempt on my part to be helpful by placing the luggage near the under-bus storage area was met by yelling. When retrieving the luggage on the other end I was ordered to "stand back" and not approach until told to. The driver on one way couldn't have been less friendly or accommodating, particularly when an older adult who couldn't understand the driver asked a question. Unbelievable and disrespectful. Wi-Fi worked intermittently and slowly, at best.

The bus on Friday, May 8 at 8:30pm was filthy. There was trash all over the floor and seats to the point that I could not sit in some areas because of the amount of trash. I have been a passionate Vamoose customer since 2007 and have not seen something like this before. Not to mention the fact he was blasting music before departure and did not turn on the optional individual lights until someone asked. Very odd. I may try another service moving forward if I do not see an improvement.
