I took a boat tour, and it was overcrowded and uncomfortable. The boat was packed with tourists, leaving little space to move around or enjoy the views. The commentary was difficult to hear over the noise of the crowd, and the guide's attempts to provide information were drowned out. The promised "exclusive" experiences were non-existent, and the overall experience felt rushed and impersonal. I would not recommend this tour if you're looking for a relaxing or informative boat trip.

I gave them two stars instead of one because the staff was always polite friendly and seemed to be helpful, although there were numerous times when they said someone would come to fix the problem I was having and no one came. The other issue is that the rental I had through them had multiple issues so I requested a partial refund. They emailed me a form to sign using my iPhone and I have sent it back three different times and keep getting an email saying it didn’t work and I need to do it again. Meanwhile there’s an expiration date on the refund offer that is rapidly approaching, this whole process has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

Sadly, the property we rented at 12 Port-A-Prince in Shipyard on Hilton Head Island from these people was the worst experience we have dealt with in the many years we have been coming down here. We rented the house for 10 days and paid extra to have the pool heated. After a long drive from New York, we were hoping to enjoy the pool and some wine, but that was not to be. There was a sign saying not to use the pool for 24 hours due to the chemicals that were put in there. From there the nightmare continued and we needed the wine! Upon entering the house we found damage, ranging from minor to mid- major, to dirty appliances, and a general look of a very run down house. Broken blinds on the windows, dividers on the windows falling off, no screens on the sliding glass doors, soiled bed linens and blankets, stinky shoes hanging from an air conditioning vent, gouges out of the hardwood floor, a leaky refrigerator causing the floor to heave in spots, no ice maker, no covered garbage can in the kitchen or any bathrooms and the best... the refrigerator in the garage full of rotting food. I made the call to the rental agency and started to list all the issues when the young lady said she would come out and see, which she did. She seemed completely unimpressed with the many issues we pointed out. Here I will add the only bright spot dealing with these people. Their Maintenance staff tried their best to fix what they could and apologized for what they could not due to " financial issues". We made the best of it as we could and then ...back to the pool. Absolutely filthy with dirt and green slime. Again the young lady from VRP seemed unimpressed and we did the best we could cleaning it until the pool people came again, 3 days before we left for home. We actually spent very little time in the pool, instead visiting with family members and using their's. We were supposed to be "compensated" for our issues but so far have seen nothing. I wish I could attach some photos lest you think I exaggerate. We obviously will never do business with this company again and I hope you think twice before you rent this property. VERY VERY poor customer service! (The 2nd star is for the Maintenance people only)

The house where we stayed was wonderful, but vacation rental pros was very difficult to deal with. I had trouble reaching them on multiple occasions and getting answers to questions was nearly impossible.

I booked a 2 month rental with Vacation Rental Pros in St. Augustine, FL at Sea Place. My booking agent was very professional but then after moving in I encountered some issues with the condo. A stove burner that didn't work and was just barely connected to a broken connector which posed a fire hazard and some missing blinds on windows in the bedroom that did not have any other window covering for privacy or blocking of the street lights. I went to the Vacation Rental Pros office to report this and the reception person was not friendly at all as well as very apathetic to the problems I reported. She said she would call maintenance but didn't even ask which unit I was in. So I told her my unit so maybe she would actually call maintenance. 2 WEEKS later someone called me in the middle of the day to tell me they were coming to fix the stove burner now. I was not home so it was not a convenient time. I told them to give me some more notice. So a few days later they did not call but entered the condo without my knowledge. I called to complain and the Vacation Rental Pro office said they were sorry but would come fix the washer. I never said anything was wrong with the washer. The window blind repairman called when he was outside the condo. Again no notice and 2 weeks after reporting the problem. My last issue was that the Vacation Rental Pros company called me to see if I wanted to book again for the following year. I explained I was not vacationing but was temporarily displaced due to Hurricane Matthew. They said ok. Then I got another call about the same thing and again explained. Then the very next day I got another call to book again! Needless to day I would probably use other rental companies in the future.

Very disappointed in service this year. First never received the Internet codes or key codes for the condo when I called them two weeks before leaving they said we never got a signed contract! Well they took all the money for rent but never bothered to call me to say they never received the contract. Well signed another and sent no problem. Get down here and the wifi code does not work call them up and he said he would get back to me. He never did I figured it out for myself. Lastly my condo is for sale they never disclosed that to me at time of renting I found myself online. Last but most important they would call and ask if I wanted to rent this same condo next year I said yes, assuming I was put on the calendar, but I keep getting the same call asking the same thing. So I did more research and found out they no longer have the contract to rent this after I leave this year. I would have paid them drove down next year only to find I did not have a place to stay (which I have found that a few people did in other condos thru vacation rental pros, came down only to find they could not stay in assigned condo) I was lucky enough to find out the rental company that took on this condo so God willing it does not get sold I have a contract for next year. If at all possible do not use this rental agency! However I know that have the most pet friendly units which is why I used them. I am working on others to open up to more pet friendly units.

Since "the new company " has started I have received a request for a deposit which I had already paid, and then a further request for a interim payment not due, followed by a email stating my reservation had been cancelled and my deposit lost. This was only corrected after I had to telephone vacation rentals from the United Kingdom incorporating more stress and costs. I have finally had confirmation this was all a administration error, yet the stress this called myself and my wife was quite overwhelming.
