I think that Bilt Labs is a no-risk option for those needing more support than is offered by standard shoe insoles. They offer multiple adjustments to their orthotics, and will promptly refund your original purchase price if you are not satisfied after the third pair. To be clear, the orthotics did not end up working for me, but I know they do for many, and it is worth a try -- you will not be out any money. It is a great business model. 5 stars for their business, 3 stars because I ended up returning them. Shout out to Laura M. who promptly and cheerfully handled my refund.

I ordered custom orthotics from BILT Labs through my FSA's store. During the checkout process, I was offered the option to add an additional pair of insoles at a low price, which I accepted. BILT Labs did not provide an invoice for the additional products, only an email confirmation. This raised concerns with the FSA administrators, Navia Benefit Solutions, who informed me that a letter of medical necessity is required before I can use my FSA funds for custom orthotics. According to their policy, I would need to visit a podiatrist who would prescribe the custom orthotics on my behalf. Unfortunately, my FSA account was charged without the required letter of medical necessity being submitted. I am uncertain about the potential consequences or whether a refund will resolve the issue. It is important to note that I accessed the FSA Store through my FSA website, and purchased BILT Labs' products from the FSA Store. BILT Labs' website indicates that their products are eligible for FSA reimbursement and encourages customers to use their FSA cards. Update: BILT Labs has issued a refund to my FSA debit card. I will now proceed with resolving the matter through the FSA. I hope the situation can be clarified and addressed in a way that minimizes any negative impact on customers in the future. I will continue to update this review if there is more activity.

I like how they feel, but I’ve tried two different styles and they are incredibly loud. If the noise doesn’t matter, they are great!
