Arrived at my hotel to find out unsold.com had cancelled my reservation the evening before. I had called before to confirm my reservation with the hotel but it turns out they had cancelled my reservation 2 hours after. They did not notify me and I arrived at my hotel having no choice but to pay full price.

The refund form on the website doesn't recognize the email I used for making reservations. Is everyone facing this problem?

I bought two packages from unsold.com, 7 days in Paris and another for 7 days in London. I received cancellation notice from unsold.com 5 days before I arrived in Paris and 12 days before I was to arrive in London. I called Novotel in Paris and they changed it to an active reservation. I commend them for that. The London hotel, Norfolk Towers has not even acknowled that I had a reservation and I have sent 3 emails and spoke with the manager. Unsold.com sent an email saying they are processing refunds on a first come first serve basis and I offered to assign my refund to Norfolk Towers of they would honor my reservation and was refused. 1I am due to arrive in London the 22nd. Does anyone out there have a media contact in London such as a TV station willing to go to the hotel with me and ask to interview the manager and to interview me wirh my story? I want to shame the hotel into giving me a room. I doubt unsold.com can get a refund to me fast enough to get a room and I cannot afford to get a room for 7 days with the remaining funds I have. I will have to sing on the streets of London (I do karaoke and am an excellent singer) and pass the hat for donations to raise enough money for a room. I did it in Madrid when short on cash and in a restaurant in Paris. I know this is an extreme solution, but I do not have any other options. I believe that everyone who received a cancellation notice up to 45 days prior should join in a lawsuit against unsold.com and the hotels for compensation 4 to 5 times the amount we paid in advance. We would go after the assets of the shareholders of unsold.com and ask the authorities to charge unsold.com with fraud and other charges. Are there any attorney's out there willing to take the case on a contingency basis?

My problem echoes all below. However this evening there has been an addendum added which includes a refund form. Check it out. We may get our money back yet!

I purchased two trips from Unsold.com The first one was to Cape Cod MA for this coming June and when I called the hotel I was told that my reservation had been canceled by Unsold.com That was 298.00 dollars and I don't know how to get my money back. I also paid for a 7 night trip to Orlando FL but I hadn't set dates for. That was also 298.00 dollars. So now were out almost 600.00 dollars. Does anyone have any advise for me ?

Fraud Alert...Purchased 7 day hotel stay from Unsold.Com then Booked Aliz Hotel Times Square from September 4-11. Received 7 day booking confirmation from Unsold.com... Called Aliz Hotel yesterday August 16 2021 and was told reservation was cancelled. Who is involved in this Fraud? Clearly Unsold.com ... Is Aliz Hotel involved also? What is going on? Site is Down, Went OUT of business.

Also here to complain about unsold, I have used them for two years always got great deals, just in June I went to Westgate lakes in Orlando Florida $298.00 for 21 nights glitch in there system also go last summer 14 nights myrtle beach 298.00, so I purchased 3 package in a row for 3 weeks @ 298.00 each then they cancelled 5 days before I was suppose to go easiest and right now only way to get money back is your bank or credit card co took me 1 day to get my 1000.00 back unsold said they will post a refund form soon ?? Seeing is believing just keep checking back on unsold.com and sorry for all your losses

The unsold website said they were temporarily unavailable when I tried to reach them to cancel because the entire month was unavailable for my trip. I contacted my credit card company immediately and they provided me a full permanent credit for the amount I paid. I suggest anyone who has purchased from them do the same immediately!! I learned from reading here that they canceled reservations and now are saying they are out of business. I never received any notification from Unsold!
