We visited Dreams Tulum Resort for vacation and were approached for a membership presentation with Unlimited Vacations. We initially agreed to sign up, and due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel. In the contract, you legally have 5-15 days to cancel without penalty. I canceled 4 days after signing the contract. I sent an email on 5/21 about the cancellation. I spoke to Luis and Jose, plus their Supervisor in Member Services on 5/22 and 5/23 and they confirmed they received the email cancellation and that it would be processed. They also confirmed I would receive a call from the Sales Floor. I spoke to Manuel and Luis at the sales room at Dreams Tulum and also confirmed with them on the same dates of the cancellation. Please explain to me why I was charged ANYWAY. I called the Payments Department and spoke to Brian today, and he claims it will be escalated and some more BS. Same BS they have been saying all week. They've tried to use bullying tactics lying saying I was in breach of contract (Manuel from the Sales Floor said this to me today 5/25/2024). He also lied and said that per the contract 50% was due, which is not true because I read contracts thoroughly so I know what my rights are. They are supposed to refund me the down payment and cancel the membership since it was canceled within 4 days of purchase. I kept being told I would receive email confirmation of cancellation. I canceled 5 days ago, and still haven't received anything but phone calls stating I was in breach of contract, I wouldn't be able to cancel due to the contact and more BS. I recorded every single call and stated on each call actually on page XYZ it shows that if I cancel within 5 business days I would be fully refunded and not charged any future payments. So you're in breach of contract. You were able to send me confirmation of the membership SAME DAY, but yet its been 5 days since canceling and still nothing. Thankfully I recorded every single call. Now I am reporting them for fraud

Horrible company! They take your money and don’t deliver on their promises. Stay away!! They lie. They told us kids under 12 are free which is why we signed up as we have little ones. Booked our first trip to find out we had to pay. They told us no blackout dates and there are lots. Their customer service is terrible. They advertised a new resort to get there and find out it was a run down takeover. They promised us a refund at the hotel for the nights we did not use because we checked out early related to the conditions of the hotel flew back home and we have yet to get our money back. That was 3 months ago. Called left messages to their quality assurance division and they won’t refund my money. Very angry and upset. DO NOT JOIN!!!! You will lose money. I have lost thousands.

Terrible company. Cares more about the contract than customer service. Super high pressure sales tactics to get you to agree to something that is “customizable” but really they’re taking away perks if you ask for less to make up for the difference. I wasted 2.5hrs to sign up to figure go back on and figure out how big of a waste of money it was after I already signed the contract. I then went back to cancel. It took another 2 hours. They used high pressure sales tactics to try to sell me a different plan and wouldn’t take a no. They forced me to give back leisure cash because it was a supposed an “incentive” but I wasted so much time with this company that is only 20% associated with Hyatt. Be careful: They are not Hyatt when they are only 20% owned by Hyatt. All the prices are variable but they will take away perks to make it “worth” it. The perks are not perks. You are paying for them in one way or another.

After a very slick sales meeting, the sales representative wrote down on a piece of paper the benefits we could receive, I duly signed the contract but to may amazement after the 5 days cooling off period I went into more detail on the contract (my mistake for trusting and not reading) to find there is a stark difference to what was discussed and what I signed up for. We were also promised a minimum of 25% discount on our bookings the their website which could go up to as much as 70% but it is a con, I can buy the holiday through a high street travel agent with flights cheaper than than the discounted rate offered through their website. I have wasted $32000 dollars £24,000 and would not recommend anyone to buy into this product. I have asked to cancel as I have not used their products and they are not interested which shows you how much they value customers - we are just meal tickets to a bad product

We think the offers of uvc are really great. The value, the flexibility, all of it give us a better way to organize our vacation budget. At the end we save more and get more quality.

Unlimited Vacations Club, UVC, is a scam. DO NOT join their membership. They seem to have hired people to scour forums like Reddit or other sites to try to write 5 star reviews and outweigh all the 1 star negativity they deserve. DO NOT JOIN UVC. They'll bribe you into their timeshare presentation, take up your whole day, manipulate you into signing a contract and giving them your hard earned money. They'll use alcohol and unethical practices to persuade you into their scam membership.
