I am giving a five star review to Joey and Matt for putting their best effort to create this Universal CPA Reviewer. What I love most is the visual learning way of teaching. I recommend it.

Pros: Visual training is an excellent idea in teaching. Textbook is entertaining to read and not boring. Joey is very helpful and responsive. Cons: The course focuses on memorizing more than teaching the concepts. Task based simulations are not user freindly, for example, sometimes when you open an exhibit and move it up you cant close it again. I noticed that some answers in the simulation are not right. I noticed that some calculations in the textbook are not right. (for example refer to CH1 MOD5 PAGE 9 example related to elderly credit, please re check). I am sure the course will be better in the future, wish you all the best.

I love this review course! I had previously used a different CPA review course for AUD, FAR, and BEC. Although the other course was thorough, I was left confused on several topics within REG. Universal CPA Review helped me pass REG; My fourth and final section. I was able to increase my score from 60 to 75. THE PERFECT SCORE!!! The mental road map, pictures, and video explanations for EVERY multiple choice question and simulation helped bridge the knowledge gap. I was able to understand the topics that kept tripping me up; Contracts, Entity Taxation and Individual Taxation. The pictures helped me greatly because I could visualize what the exam questions were asking. I highly recommend Universal CPA Review for ANY candidate that may be struggling to pass their exams. Love the website. I like the lectures as they are bite size, but pack a wealth of information. The mental maps for each topic had really helped me retain the subject matter.

Love all the visuals and the shorter videos! The explanations for SIMS and MCQ are super helpful!

Universal got me to pass my last 2 sections where I was struggling to do so. The videos and visual explanations were so helpful and the customer service was great!

Great for visual learners. There was usually a very helpful narrative (accompanied by mind maps and visual aids) to make concepts memorable. I would definitely supplement my studies with this course, and will add it in whenever possible/needed until I pass. The teachers were responsive. The course has great potential in the CPA exam prep industry. Their approach could be a game changer for many people!
