I first hired United Regions Van Lines a few summers ago but they have always retained a special place in my mind because my daughter left her teddy in the cargo area when they were unloading and they drove back to return it to us. With history like that, it was impossible, UNTHINKABLE, to consider any other moving company when we decided to move from Gainesville, FL to Frederick, MD. No crazy incidents this time but the same great service, albeit from a different moving crew. Another heartfelt 5 stars from my family this time. We couldn't even find fault with their work even if we tried.

I DEEPLY regret using United Regions moving company on every level. My final bill was $10,000 over their estimate. They used day labor to pack my house onto a truck that they knew in advance was too small and they had to come back the next day to finish. While they were packing my house, three of the movers just left during the day without notice to the 2 that were left. After packing me up, they never ever called me with a status update on delivery and when I called to check, they evaded my questions, told me they had a 17 day window in which they could deliver and when I asked them for more info, they snapped at me and spoke to me like they were scolding a child. Before delivery, they demanded the final payment ($6000) in CASH only. Then day of delivery they said the truck was too big to enter my neighborhood and demanded another $3500 in CASH only and said I had an hour to get it or they would leave. When they finally showed up in 1 of 2 smaller rented trucks, they would not even open the truck to show me my belongings until I handed over the $9,500 in cash! I felt shaken down. The drivers spoke Russian and broken English and they were terrifying to me. Every single interaction I had with this company was horrifying and stressful.

Our family just bought a summer home in Texas and we hired United Regions Van Lines to transfer some furniture that was in our house or sitting in storage to the new place. So, the movers had to do 2 pick-ups, and that included the packing at each location. They had no problems and that stage went as smoothly as could be. The delivery was even smoother and the movers in TX had our furniture packed and arranged even faster than they had originally planned. I am amazed at the speed with which all my things were collected, transported and placed at a location so far away, so quickly. This company really impressed me with its efficiency and customer service. I will hire them again if I need anything moved.

Worst moving company!!! They failed in every category- no after hours/weekend customer support; terrible and insulting supervisors; indifferent to customer wishes; punctual only to their personal timeline; hidden costs appear when customer is most vulnerable; failure to honor schedule! DON'T SELECT THIS COMPANY! LIERS AND DISHONEST populate thier team.

We made a huge leap of faith deciding to hire United Regions Van Lines for our move from Maryland to Florida. It was the first time we had made an interstate move without our usual movers, a well-known international brand. A huge part of the reason was the large price gap - United Regions Van Lines quoted (and changed) us almost half what the other company did. That actually made me apprehensive of United Regions Van Lines at first. Then, I read the reviews and found out that they are known for providing great service at a very reasonable price. My own experience confirms this and I am very happy that I trusted my gut and hired them. 5 stars.

A good balance of cost and quality. We have other options when moving around the States but have always stuck to United Regions Van Lines because they have been consistently good and reliable. We find the moving crews to be fantastic and over the past few years, we have worked with no less than 20 different individuals. Even the United Regions Van Lines office team is very pleasant and all our interactions (mainly us asking about pricing and updates during the transportation stage) have been quick and informative. I'm no expert in moving but even I can see that United Regions Van Lines is a good company. 5 stars.

Sloppy on unloading. Did not svrew in legs to dining room table. Extremely dangerous.

United Regions Van Lines was recommended to me by a good friend who moves about the country a lot. He said that he had gone through over 10 moves with this company over several years and would not switch them for anyone. United Regions Van Lines proved themselves worthy of that confidence when they completed my move from Tucson, AZ to San Francisco, CA with the same attention to detail and care that I had been told about. I am quite happy with the fact that their performance matched the hype but more so that the episode did not cost me an arm and a leg. Despite being new to the experience of using professional moving services, I can tell that this is a company that’s above average.
