Pretty good
I have used United Domains for a couple of years now. Their prices are competitive. The service is friendly, but there is about a 24-hour lag on emailed service requests or questions. For me for most situations, this has been acceptable.

Blasted with marketing
I very much regret using United Domains. As soon as I signed up, I started getting junk mail (from people who couldn't write proper English) about website services, and I'm still getting phone calls on my personal cell soliciting me every day. Do not use this company.

Like all other domain registrars, UD is required by ICANN to enter a domain registration's associated contact details into a publicly accessible database called the Whois. This unfortunately does make it possible for a publicly registered domain to receive spam from third parties, regardless of the domain registrar through which the domain was purchased. Any third parties who mine the Whois for this data are not affiliated with United Domains. While ICANN does not permit a registrar to remove a domain's Whois record outright, we do offer an optional Whois Privacy service that replaces the details shown in the Whois with those of our own proxy service. Whois Privacy is an industry-wide solution many registrars offer to help prevent further instances of domain-related spam.
