Cheap and easy but don't expect customer service to reply to any questions. 2 questions sent to CS before and after the purchase and none of them ever got a reply. Upside: Most domains available at a competitive price.

The site was very buggy. ( but got fixed) had problems with the purchase.. contacted technical support.. 3 emails.. no answer. i keep insisting but i received no feedback from technical support.

The portfolio service is terrible. The DNS srttings for my domain have not loaded for like an entire week. I need to access these settings, and now the projects for my domain are now put on hold because of this.

I like that I can reserve domains for upcoming TLDs but I do NOT like having my email sold by UnitedDomains to their partners. EDIT: Because I cannot comment on responses, here's an edit. Do you know about email aliases? You can use "+" to signify where you used an email address. I've received spam email from the alias I setup for UD. Obviously, I do not use this alias for other accounts. Proof that my account email was sold and/or harvested. My latest spam email (literally hours ago) is from "Fresa Technologies", advertising IT solutions. When Cloudflare opens domain registration for all, my domains are moving there and Gandi.

Hello Paul, and thanks for your comments. I'd like to stress that we do NOT share your inormation with any third party, either for free or by selling it. Like all domain registrars, we are required by ICANN to submit your contact details to an official Whois Database. This database is publicly accessible, which can lead to third-parties accessing it. Any such third parties are absolutely not affiliated with us. We offer a Whois Privacy service, which we are happy to assist with setting up. Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] if that's the case. I'm confident we'll be able to improve your experience. Best regards, Travis at UD Edited to Reply: The email a customer provides in their account at the time of registration is used to create the contact details we are then required to submit to the Whois Database, so if you used an email alias in your account at the time of registration, this is the email address that would be submitted to the Whois. Once again this database is public and all domain regstrars are required by ICANN to submit a domain registrant's provided contact details to it when that individual registers a domain name. At no point do we harvest or sell this information to third parties. I hope this helps to clarify. Thank you again.
